In this third-person narrative survival horror game set 300 years in the future, the player takes on the role of Jacob Lee, a victim of fate thrown into Black Iron Prison, a maximum security prison located on Jupiter's moon Callisto. As the prisoners begin to transform into monstrous creatures, the prison descends into chaos. To survive, Jacob must fight his way to safety to escape the Dark Iron prison while uncovering the dark and disturbing secrets buried beneath Callisto's surface. Using a unique mix of shooting and close combat, Jacob will need to adapt his tactics to deal with rapidly evolving creatures while scavenging to unlock new weapons, gear and abilities to escape the rising threat and horrors of Jupiter's Dead Moon.

The game is set on Jupiter's dead moon Callisto in the year 2320. In The Callisto Protocol, players take on the role of Jacob Lee, an inmate at the Black Iron Prison. When a mysterious outbreak throws the moon into chaos, Jacob must face his darkest fears to defeat the bloodthirsty creatures that haunt him as he unravel the dark mysteries at the heart of the powerful Jupiter United Company.

MASTER BRUTAL STRATEGIC COMBAT

The Callisto Protocol challenges players to master an exciting mix of melee and ranged combat, including a unique gravity weapon once used by the Black Iron Guard to control prisoners. Players will be forced to get close to their grotesque opponents, chopping off limbs, chopping off legs, and creatively using everything at their disposal to survive every life-and-death encounter.
