Chests in Empires and Puzzles are an integral part of the gameplay. Although they cannot be called the main driving force of progress in the project, the bonuses received from them can significantly change your gaming experience. About the types of chests, how to get them and what drops out of them, read further in our guide.
What are chests in Empires and Puzzles?
A chest is a set of rewards that you can earn by completing certain tasks. The value of the reward and the difficulty of the tasks differ for each type of chest. Chests that are not available for opening remain gray, but if the task is completed and the scale is filled to the end, a glow will appear around the chest.
Chest types
There are 4 types of chests in the game: chests of monsters, heroes, titans and elements.
To get the Monster Chest, you need to kill 100 monsters on any level of the map. You can choose an already completed level or start a new one. All killed monsters will count, but the number of monsters varies from location to location, so experienced players prefer to get chests at levels 7 and 8. Here, the ratio of the expended World energy, that is, the energy required to perform an action on the map, and the number of enemies in each location is the most beneficial for the player.
To open the Hero Chest, you need to kill 40 enemy heroes during the raid. A raid is an attack on another player. It doesn't matter if you won the raid or were defeated, all the killed characters will count.
In order to go on raids, restore the Watchtower. Each attempt costs 1 unit of Blitz Energy. The maximum energy for each player is 6 units and does not depend on the level. The scale of this indicator is filled at a rate of 1 unit per hour.
To get the Titan Chest, you and the members of the Alliance need to win 5 victories over the titans. Titans are raid bosses. They can only be defeated by a group of players belonging to the same Alliance. These raid bosses appear on the map after reaching level 4. Keep in mind that only titans killed by you while you are in the Alliance count.
An Elemental Chest or a Colored Chest may appear instead of one of the standard chests. To receive a reward, you need to kill 150 characters whose color (element) matches the color (element) of the chest. At the same time, monsters from the map, heroes from raids, and even titans, if they match the color of the task, count. At certain levels, different types of monsters prevail.
The most valuable rewards fall out of these chests, but they appear extremely rarely.
To open the Red Chest, we recommend the following provinces and milestones:
- 4 province stage 1
- 6 province, stages 2 and 8
- 11 province stage 6
- 12 province, stages 4, 6 and 8
- 19 province, stages 4 and 6
- 20 province, stages 4 and 7
The following locations are suitable for Blue chests:
- 8 province, stages 1, 3, 5 and 7
- 9 province, stages 1, 3, 5 and 9
- 13 province, stages 5 and 8
To get Green chests, it is better to visit these places:
- 6 province, stages 3 and 6
- 7 province stage 5
- 17 province stage 5
- 18 province stage 5
We recommend farming Dark Chests in provinces and stages:
