Fortnite Description Update V13.20

Epic has confirmed that the Fortnite update for Season 3 Chapter 2 v2 is now live and we have all the changes added to the game. There is a lot of new content and the Flare Gun is finally coming to Battle Royale!

Fans have finally waited - the Flare Gun, which was first discovered back in Chapter 1 and added to the code in the third season, is released in this update. The water on the submerged map will also recede slightly for the first time this season and expose more land.

What else has the current Fortnite update brought? After the leak Season 3 June 16 there has been a lot of information and there are quite a few bugs that Epic is also going to clean up in this patch. Let's take a look at the v13.20 update - starting with all the usual server downtime details.

When will the update for Fortnite 12.61 be released?

Epic has announced that the next 13.20 update is coming out today, June 30th. Servers will be shut down to install the update at 9:00 AM ET.

Expect downtime and it will take 20-25 minutes. Since this is a minor fix, it won't take long for Epic to get the servers back up and running.

There is already one change officially confirmed by Epic itself in the June 30th update; The Flare Gun is finally being added to the state of the battle royale game this week.

The stats for Flare Gun have also been released, so we already have all the details. The reload time will be 1,5 seconds, there will be six bullets in the magazine, and it will deal 60 damage with a direct hit.

Water recedes and opens up new landscapes

There were some pretty big changes for the Fortnite map when Season 3 arrived  - the whole battle royale arena possessions now covered in water , thanks to the huge, amazing explosion that occurred earlier this month on the Aggregate device.

Leaks in Fortnite indicate a drop in water levels during Season 3, which means we'll see some of the more popular points of interest currently hidden under the waves in the next few fixes.

According to popular Fortnite insider HYPEX, the next change should come when the v13.20 update hits the live servers.

Of series of leaked images, which show eight different levels of flooding, it looks like we won't get any important objects of interest this week when the water levels drop. However, Fortnite players will be getting back the sushi from Chapter 2

New POI Atlantis - the birthplace of Aquaman

With the drop in water levels in the Fortnite v13.20 update, players get their first glimpse of a new attraction coming in Season 3: the Atlantis area - Aquaman's habitat, which is currently hidden under the waves on the Chapter 2 map.

Area recently shown  LunakisLeaks in the YouTube video, is a huge underwater canyon that is perfect for building. However, at the time of writing, players cannot accurately access the space due to how hidden it is.

However, in the future, as sea levels rise and fall, a huge mystery will be revealed to players. The first water level drop comes in this patch; could Atlantis be revealed so soon?

Error correction

As usual, the Fortnite team has also added a number of challenges to their official Trello board . This week's patch will likely contain fixes for many of these recurring issues; it is the complete list of bug fixes installed for v13.20:

Common

  • ♦"Lock mouse input method" does not block the input method.
  • ♦ Styles for Specialist Pickaxe and Arroyo Pack Back Bling are missing.
  • ♦Rage Emote fire effect remains on/near players.
  • ♦Sandstorm Outfit missing hairstyle.

battle royale

  • ♦Party Assist Upgrade
  • ♦Playback is not saved on PlayStation 4.
  • ♦Low Glider speed after redeployment in certain situations.
  • ♦The XP bar may be visually incorrect during a match.
  • ♦ Fall damage from Ziplines when landing in shallow water.
  • ♦Epic and Legendary SMGs can sometimes not be capped.
  • ♦ Damaging marauders count on storm surge.
  • ♦ Chaga does not heal when thrown inside a bush.
  • ♦Supply drops can sometimes push loot under the map.

Creative mode

  • ♦Consumables do not stay at the item spawn points in Creative on mobile.

So, here it is! These are our early fixes with expected changes and fixes coming with the Fortnite v13.20 Update. As soon as the official data is published and added to the game, we will be the first to let you know.
