The character appears to be wearing the same costume as in the first teaser, which likely confirms that the couple is connected in a shared story.
The title accompanying the teaser reads "Bright Future", which could be a hint of some major changes coming to the game in the near future.
Following the release of the teaser, Epic Games Worldwide creative director Donald Mustard continued to tease fans about what they can expect as the new season kicks off, writing a cryptic message in response to the image, stating "From the ashes..."
What this means for the game is unknown, but some have already begun to guess that it is somehow connected with the Abandoned Towers and the Trading Post, which were destroyed by a volcano and reduced to ruins and ashes.
