Epic Games Responded to Fortnite Loading Screen Stuck Bug
Epic Games, developers of the Fortnite battle royale, have responded to several players reporting chapter XNUMX loading screen freezes preventing them from playing the regular game.
Fortnite Chapter 2 has been widely acclaimed as a breath of new life into Epic Games' third-person battle royale; do our best to win back old players, satisfy the constant desire to receive gifts, and encourage new players to download the game for the first time.
However, despite Fortnite's positive reception, fans have still noticed issues with the game as invasive bugs and crashes threaten its longevity. One bug that has become noticeable lately has to do with the regular freezing of the loading screen.
On January 3rd, several Fortnite players shared the challenges they are facing with the title, many of which seem to overlap.
One gamer explained that he logged into his game as a character with the default skin despite choosing a different one. Once in the game, they suffered regular disappearances from both the map and the loading screen.
In response, Epic Games confirmed that this information has been shared with their technical staff.
However, many other players have suffered similar problems. One PS4 player reported that their loading screen kept popping up randomly during a match, essentially preventing them from playing a normal game.
Similarly, a PC player shared his experience of an incredibly slow game where none of the players could move properly. Epic has responded similarly to all players' posts, asking for more information as they presumably identify the issue.
This all seemed to be due to the same desync issues that Epic confirmed they were already working on. However, they don't seem particularly close to resolution.
It also seems that more and more people are suffering from these issues, with a number of users joining the Reddit discussion to confirm that they are also experiencing issues.
While Epic Games is trying to identify the issue, you can be aware of all the bugs they track on their public Fortnite Trello board . We'll update you on desync issues in Fortnite as more information becomes available.
