Dungeons & Dragons: Dark Alliance allows up to four players to take on classic roles to fight enemy armies. It's a pretty straightforward adventure, but there's still some advice we'd like to get started.

In this beginner's guide Dark alliance we'll give you the top seven tips for your adventure in Icewind Dale.

PLAYING WITH FRIENDS, YOU DISCOVER NEW OPPORTUNITIES

Game in D&D: Dark Alliance alone is a risky adventure without much subtlety. Playing with friends is a little different. Performing certain moves, such as parries or backstabs, will cause team attacks . These attacks greatly simplify the management of enemies and make them more meaningful.

CHARACTERS ARE CLASSES

В D&D: Dark Alliance You have four characters to choose from: Dirzt Do'Urden, Catti-Brie, Wulfgar and Bruenor Battlehammer. These characters roughly correspond to the classes.

  • Drizzt - ranger (who plays like a cheater). It is good for running at enemies and backstab.
  • catti brie - fighter (playing as a ranger). She is your only viable ranged option.
  • Wulfgar - barbarian (playing like a barbarian). It's great for high damage melee attacks in a straight line (as opposed to a fast arc for crown control).
  • Bruenor - fighter . It is great for close combat and crowd control.

Any character works well in melee. This will be your only real option if you play Dark Alliance in alone - sometimes you just need to get closer to the battle. Everyone has ranged attacks, but Catti-Brie is the only way to deal significant damage from a distance.

BUTTON PRESS DOES NOT WORK

Dark Alliance battle - it's not rhythm or timing - you're punching your way through enemies more than worrying about the perfect fight. However, the combat is quite directional - you will continue to move in the direction you start the attack or series of attacks.

This means that button wiping should be directional and limited. If you get too carried away, you will, well, get carried away, and continue not to attack anything right away from the scene.

EXPLORE TO FIND CHESTS FOR GOLD AND GEAR

Levels Dark alliance quite simple and linear for basic purposes. But you should always take the time to explore branching paths and dead ends in search of a reward. Usually this reward is a chest that contains gold and equipment. Sometimes this leads to an optional goal that will earn you additional experience.

YOU ONLY CHANGE GEAR BETWEEN ADVENTURES

The equipment you pick up as loot from chests and enemies isn't yours yet. All this goes to Chest с booty back to Pyramid of Kelvin . After you complete the level and return, you will be able to collect everything that you ... have collected. At this point, between adventures, you will understand it and use the best equipment.

The same goes for leveling up, improving stats, unlocking skills, and shopping. All this takes place in the camp.

This means that all you have to worry about during a level is making your way to the end. Don't worry about your stats until you get home.

BONUS SET MATTERS SO DON'T SELL YOUR GEAR

All the equipment - weapons, armor and decorations - that you collect (and only worry about returning to the camp) is part of the set. The set will be the first part of the name of each item. This is important because the kits come with set bonuses . As soon as you equip three pieces of the same set, you will receive bonuses such as bonuses to damage or resistances. Set bonuses can compensate for less powerful (lower tier or rarity) equipment.

Instead of selling stuff right away, keep an eye out for these set bonuses and hoard that gear. (In any case, you won't get much money from selling it.)

SPEND MONEY ON MOVES

In your player menu , bookmark the third where you will unlock Moves . This expands your options in combat and makes each character more versatile. You'll unlock things like Bruenor's Grind Launcher uppercut or Wulfgar's Elk Stomp area attack. Spend your money here first.
