Counter-Strike 2 beta start and end dates
Valve began rolling out early access to Counter-Strike 2 March 22, 2023 for a limited number of interested players. It has been an open secret for the past few weeks that the update Source 2 will appear in the original Counter-Strike Global Offensive (CS:GO). The testing phase has begun and provides an idea of the changes that will come to the game after release.
Valve has shared several clips of lightning, environmental changes, and a host of other graphical improvements to maps, weapons, and more. This intrigued fans with the signup process to access the beta along with other requests for an end date.
Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test Beta Won't End Anytime Soon
While Valve began rolling out the limited test a few hours ago, they have not given an official end date and time as of this writing. This means that beta testing will end some time before the official launch of the game. Since the title will be released in the summer of 2023, players can enjoy the beta for about 5 months.
It's worth noting that Valve allows as many players as possible to try out their latest experiments and updates from time to time while gathering feedback from players for improvements. This happened during the Panorama update back in 2017 and before Dota 2's Source 2 update in 2014.
Valve has beefed up their decision and dedicated a few servers exclusively for players who decide to upgrade to Counter-Strike 2. This means that players who wish to upgrade to Counter-Strike 2 will find themselves in a lobby with other players who have decided to upgrade, while players CS:GO will have their own matchmaking.
Players are selected for the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test based on a number of factors that the Counter-Strike 2 development team considers important, including (but not limited to) recent play time on official Valve servers, trust factor, and Steam account status.

However, Valve has also implemented a few restrictions in order to access the Counter-Strike 2 Limited Test Beta, which includes a good Steam account health, CS:GO history, and good system specs that serve as a few checks. so that every player can enjoy a fair experience. They completely restricted players with VAC or game ban.
