Looking for details about Dainsleif, a character Genshin impact? This enigmatic masked figure is one of the most important characters in the game; Not only does Dinsleif serve as the narrator in the Genshin Impact - Teyvat teaser and the Genshin Impact Collection character video series, he also traveled with your lost twin for a while. To top it all off, he's the only character other than the Traveler we've met that can use abilities without vision.

Dainsleif is over 500 years old and cursed with immortality, so he didn't turn into a monster like his people. He became immortal as a punishment for stepping into forbidden lands. Our hero does not respect and honor the archons and those who believe in them, but he will never go against them. Apparently, he is from the royal guard, since in the plot the twin even called his title.

Daysleif release date

While miHoYo has yet to reveal an official release date for Dinsleif, we know it will be playable. The news was announced during the Tokyo Game Show 2020 broadcast, which marked the global release of Genshin Impact.

Since he's from Kaenri'ah, and this location is listed as the last location in the Teyvat storyline preview, it's likely that we'll see him appear in the release of the game's final region. For those who don't know Caenri'ah is an unreleased region in Teyvat. This region is known for a great cataclysm that spawned bloodthirsty monsters and led its people to form the Order of the Abyss.

It is noteworthy that Kaenri'ah is not part of the Teyvat continent and is not in the possession of the seven Archons.

Celestia will eventually destroy Caenri'ah to prevent a monstrous invasion of Teyvat, but despite this, the region is still home to a number of characters, one of which is Dainsleif.

Dinesleif's banner in Genshin Impact?

We don't know what it will look like banner Dinsleif or in which version it will appear. It is possible that Dinsleif was intended to be a playable character earlier, hence the reveal, and so he was moved to a later version. But given its narrative value, it's much more likely that it will arrive along with the general end of the Archons' quests. This seems particularly plausible, since fate Caenri'ah seems to be closely related to your brother or sister and the seven Archons of Teyvat.

Dinsleif's ability in Genshin Impact?

We know that Dainsleif's nickname is "Twilight Sword" and that he was in the royal guard in the kingdom Caenri'ah 500 years before the Genshin Impact is installed. We know that Caenri'ah was a godless city, so perhaps its inhabitants developed an alternate version of elemental abilities, or maybe what allows the Traveler to use powers without vision does the same for Dinsleif. It could also mean that it cannot be bound to one element and could potentially use them all.

However, his official image describing the initial phase of the elemental explosion shows the character having blue energy flowing through one of his arms. How he will use his skills in combat remains to be seen, but as a denizen Caenri'ah, he will probably be incredibly strong.

Dainsleif's weapon

As for the Twilight Sword, it's not too hard to assume that Dinsleif wields a sword, even though we've never seen him with such a weapon. It is equally likely that he could have used a catalyst, or perhaps even a claymore. At first everyone thought that Shogun Raiden was a sword user, but it turned out that she was using a polearm and thus such things are difficult to predict accurately.

Genshin Impact Dainsleif Voice Actors

As the narrator of Genshin Impact, we've heard Dinsleif's different voices many times. The English-speaking voice actor is Yuri Lowenthal, who you may also know from voicing Peter Parker in the Sony Spider-Man game. The Japanese voice actor is Tsuda Kenjiro, who has starred in more anime than you can count, including Yugioh (as the great Seto Kaiba), Jujutsu Kaisen, and Tower of God.
