COD Warzone Season 6 Roadmap, Release Date, Map Changes, Weapons, and More
Season XNUMX of Warzone is fast approaching and we've finally taken a look at the Warzone update roadmap. Here you'll find everything you need to know about the past season of Warzone before integrating with Vanguard, from release date and map change to new weapons.
As Warzone Season 5 draws to a close, players are looking forward to what's next. The sixth season of the popular CoD battle royale will be the last seasonal update before Vanguard everything will change.
With new map features such as the stadium, city center, and World War II bunkers, this season is sure to bring good luck before we say goodbye to Verdansk and move on to the new Pacific Warzone map.
On top of the map changes, there are five new weapons, tons of operative skins, and the Ghost, which will be a playable event later this season. Here's everything you need to know about Warzone Season 6.
When will Warzone Season 6 release?
Warzone Season 6 release date set for Thursday, October 7 .
This date coincides with the endpoint of the current Season 5 Battle Pass, and also supports Warzone ahead of the release of Vanguard on November 5th.
Typically, mid-season updates for Reloaded arrive four weeks after each season. This puts Vanguard right in the middle for a well-timed mid-season update if all goes according to plan.
Warzone Season 6 Map Changes: City Center, Stadium, and World War II Bunkers
We now know that three new objects will be coming to Warzone Season 6. Due to the earthquake, the city center and the stadium were destroyed, and these places will be very different.
In addition to these two changing areas, there are World War II bunkers. They are hidden under the surface of Verdansk, but loaded with loot. They are connected to Adler and his disappearance as the Call of Duty team's hints are more and more Vanguard information.
You'll have to play Warzone yourself in season 6 to see exactly what happened to the city center, the stadium, and explore those bunkers.
This will likely be the last season players will be able to visit Verdansk, as a new, all-new map of the Pacific is set to arrive in Warzone with Vanguard integration.
Return of the Gulag in Warzone
The original Gulag returns to Warzone in Season 6. While it's not exactly the same, the developers offer a variant of the classic Gulag that has been a Warzone staple for a long time.
It certainly could bring back the OG Warzone vibe before we say hello to the Vanguard integration.
Warzone Season 6 weapons: Grav, .410 Ironhide, Battle Axe, and more.
Grav AR is the fastest firearm in its class.
Warzone Season 6 will feature five new weapons for free. The gun that can shake up the meta is the Grav, a fast-firing assault rifle. This weapon has the highest bullet speed of any AR with decent damage.
Another weapon is the .410 Ironhide Shotgun, which players can get for free by leveling up the Battle Pass. Shotguns became more popular in the warzone, Gallo was very good, but he was nerfed. There will also be a free battle axe, which players can earn by completing the in-game challenge.
Two new weapons will appear later in Season 6. These include the LAPA, a submachine gun that can be obtained from the Ghost Event, and the Hammer and Sickle. This will be available to players who complete the in-game challenge.
You can see some of the new weapons in action from the PlayStation Season 6 trailer.
Warzone Ghost Event
Little was known about the new Warzone event, The Haunting. However, the release is scheduled for October 19 in honor of the celebration of Halloween in Verdansk.
This may be similar to last year's event, which featured a night map, creepy operatives, LTM zombies, and hunting.
More details will be published on October 18, then we will inform you about it.
Warzone Season 6 Battle Pass
Last but not least, a new season, of course, means a new battle pass. 100 tiers of fresh cosmetics and weapon blueprints are expected to arrive, no different from the regular ones.
Each season usually has its own exclusive Operative skins at base level, as well as rare variants at level 100. It's entirely possible that Alex Mason could be a level 100 Operative this season, as he was the cover face in season 6.
