Spider-Man May Appear in Fortnite Season 4

New Fortnite leaks suggest that Spider-Man and Carnage could head to the Fortnite store in Season 4.
Season 4 of Fortnite released on August 27, and fans are already looking forward to what this means for the future of Fortnite skins. We already have a ton of fan-favorite Marvel heroes in the game - Wolverine, Captain America, Thor, Groot and more. However, there is room for much more.
One of the more notable exceptions was Spider-Man, arguably the most popular Marvel hero of all time. Will Spider-Man be coming to Fortnite Season 4?
The first leaks point to this possibility. It seems logical for Epic to add Spider-Man to the game - especially given their cozy relationship with Sony, which owns the rights to the likeness of Spider-Man in video games. According to several insiders, there are lines in the game files to achieve Spider-Man.

Unlike Black Panther, which has a leaked set of abilities and new points of interest, it looks like Spider-Man will be coming to the Item Shop rather than the Battle Pass.
ShiinaBR, fellow Fortnite data miner, expanded on the news. He added that Carnage - the popular Spider-Man villain - will most likely accompany your friendly neighborhood hero when he eventually makes it to the Item Shop.
ICYMI: Today some achievements have been added to the game, indicating that Spider-Man and his enemy Carnage could(!) be added to the game at a later date.

When it releases, Spider-Man could prove to be one of the most popular male Fortnite skins. The typical Spider-Man character model is inherently small (small hitbox), which will result in more competitive players using it. This is also the reason Agent Chaos is used so often in competitive matches. Smaller character models are always more popular.
Either way, Spider-Man fans will be happy to know that their favorite hero hasn't been left out of the Fortnite Marvel crossover. We'll keep you posted as we learn more about this skin and possible set, including Carnage and other Spider-Man cosmetics. So far, these are just rumors.
