On August 24, 1984, an elite CIA task force, having dealt with the Seam, discovers a German bunker from the Second World War deep under the center of Verdansk.

Where will you land? Caldera - new map Warzone Pacific

December 8 owners Vanguard get 24 hours exclusive access to Caldera, the new map Warzone Pacific. At the beginning of this period, all players Warzone will be able to get to Renaissance Island. After this exclusive period, Caldera will become available to all players, with Rebirth Island returning later in the first season.

Caldera is made up of 15 huge areas that you can explore during Operation Vulcan combat. It also contains hundreds of small objects that players can find and use to gain tactical advantage.

Naval arsenal

The northwestern region of the Caldera map is a sprawling shipyard and forward base that offers opportunities for both outdoor and indoor skirmishing, and contains many unusual tactical positions such as deep dry dock chambers. Beyond are several large buildings - a command center, an administration building, barracks, a training ground, and a shooting range - with beaches and a small radar system to the east of the main armory.

industrial docks

Once owned by the Ocean Freight Company, this massive industrial dock complex houses rusty cranes, a huge shipyard, a long-abandoned company headquarters, and an entire shipping yard. The area also connects several important sites: fuel tanks, phosphate containers, Mines and Peak refineries, a military base with Quonset barracks near the arsenal, and an entire fishing village with bamboo houses located next to the untouched jungle near the airstrip.

Runway

The main airfield and runway in the southwest is for most aircraft takeoffs and landings, while the northeast has an auxiliary runway for those on the beachhead or in the arsenal and docks area. In an area half hidden in the jungle, you will make your way past lonely dwellings and ruined villas and climb steep cliffs to reach the coastal headland, along which a muddy airstrip stretches. Deep in the jungle is a military command center with its own secrets.

Ruin

This intact archaeological site, located north of the village and west of the extensive mine workings, contains the remains of structures with balusters that mimic natural volcanic columns. These megalithic buildings date from around the XNUMXth century. Look for the ruins next to the fast-flowing stream, then head east through the jungle to find a larger ruin in the forests on the hillside. Other pleasant surprises await along the way, such as cascading waterfalls and emerald green hot springs.

Phosphate mines

Behind the huge area where phosphates are mined, processed and prepared for transport, winding turns, giant grinding machines and mine cars begin - all this stretches from the main gorge to the docks, to smaller factories, a railway line and steep embankments, forcing fighters to adapt and quickly change fighting style. Executors can also explore a large factory complex, look for old mine workings and stumble upon a [[CLASSIFIED]] with their own [[CLASSIFIED]] or explore outdoor areas containing drains, conveyor belts, unloading bays, containers, and even an outlying gas station and grocery store.

Peak

strategic height. In the center of the map is a tall dormant volcano, after which the island is named. The height advantage you get from landing near the volcano's vent and the Axis military base under construction here is partially offset by the fact that it's open country. In which case, look for shelter among the rocks, at the main station connecting the peak with the airstrip, or in the magma chamber itself.

Bridgehead

Among the dunes on the northwestern shore is an extensive network of trench fortifications, hidden under a communications center, radar system, barracks, and a large military compound. All these fortifications were built to protect the coast. Farther south are batteries and a village with bamboo houses, located on both sides of the gorge through which the river flows. In different directions, there is a network of main roads, dirt roads, footpaths, goat trails and narrow paths leading through the jungle.

Village on the river

Except for the wreck of a freighter and the newly established gun emplacements in the foothills west of the summit, the village is almost intact, with bamboo huts, footbridges, rice paddies and rocky slopes waiting to be explored. Further south and east is the main paved road that goes around the entire map. On either side of it is wilderness, interspersed with industrial complexes, more modern buildings from the 1930s, and suburban hilltop homes. They are equipped with anti-aircraft guns, covering in the event of an attack from the air.

Terminal

The main airfield has many aircraft and buildings to explore, including staff buildings and a control tower with multiple entrances. On the road or at the entrance to the hangar, you will be visible at a glance - to find cover, run to the buildings near the village or to the south coast, where the Allied base is located.

Agricultural center

The main attraction of the Caldera map is the fertile agricultural fields south of the volcano. In addition to numerous small farms, there are warehouses with agricultural machinery and storage rooms, an administrative center, a water tower, stables and other places that can be found while traveling through the hilly area. Off-site farm buildings, bunkers, lakes, logging camps, a military outpost, a communications tower, and rocky cliffs lead to the southern part of the map and open up many tactical possibilities.

Shark Lair Submarine Dock

The sinister submarine dock "Shark Lair" is the largest military installation on the island, located in a bay on the east coast of the island. This huge base for the Axis submarines, one of which is still moored inside, is a huge structure for the performers to explore and hold. Several outbuildings and a bunker with an intricate system of underground tunnels can be explored outside to collect the necessary supplies or find contracts.

Power

To the south of the airfield rises a medium-sized power plant with a pair of chimneys, standing out sharply against the backdrop of lush greenery, stepped waterfalls, and ancient ruins all around. Go further south to find a large radio antenna and a civilian radio station.

Situated in a huge natural bay in the southern part of the island, the capital boasts many historical structures for performers to fight for. These include the Theater Royal, the main building of the Capitol and Art Deco structures such as the fire station and police station, located on both sides of the active tram lines. Royal Cabana Resort

The Royal Cabana Resort offered wealthy travelers pristine sandy beaches, great surf spots, secluded huts and a majestic main hotel building. Performers arriving here will see the abandoned ruins of this resort and the main highway providing quick access by transport. There is also a small square, a clock tower, a bus stop and an entrance to the hotel. It is worth carefully exploring the large territory of the resort with small ponds, ferns and palm trees.
