Fortnite Cars: Where are the Gas Stations, How to Use and Their Statistics
We've had vehicles in Fortnite in the past, but it looks like Chapter 2: Season 3 will have a lot of new options for them. We cover all the known and leaked information about cars and vehicles in this guide.
The map walk in Chapter 2 was seen as a pretty sore spot when it came to Seasons 1 and 2. With Season 3, Epic has taken big steps to make our travels easier. There are a lot more ziplines around the map, as well as whirlpools that will lift you into the air and allow you to soar in the right direction. You can also ride a shark, jump on a boat, or go on a Choppa helicopter flight. With a bunch of cars heading into the game, you'll have the opportunity to cut your tires on the open road.
RELEASE DATE OF FORTNITE CARS
It hasn't been officially announced yet, but based on the leaks, it looks like the release date for the cars will be July 21, 2020. They were originally announced in the launch roadmap we received in Season XNUMX, so it's a little surprising that we've been waiting so long to get them into the game. However, now we know that they will appear relatively soon.
DETAILS
We've rounded up all the currently known leaks and information about the cars that drive in Fortnite below!
Car list
According to some data that was extracted from the files, it looks like there will be six different types of cars:
- ♦Basic Car
- ♦Main Truck
- ♦Big Horn
- ♦Police car
- ♦Taxi
- ♦Sports car
Fuel
Cars obviously need fuel to run them, so they can't drive indefinitely. There will be gas stations all over the map where you can fill up your car. We are not yet sure how exactly this will be done. Here is a list of fuel tanks and the minimum and maximum amount of fuel they will have in them when they appear (credit Forttory ). Keep in mind that they may change at any time.
Fuel tank capacity
- ♦Small fuel tank (most likely Whiplash sports car): 100,0
- ♦Average fuel tank (most likely sedan): 100.0
- ♦Large Fuel Tank (Mudguard Semi-Trailer): 150.0
- ♦DagwoodTruck FuelTankCapacity (Bear Truck): 100.0
Minimum and maximum amount of fuel at spawn
- ♦ValetSmall MinFuelAtSpawn (Whiplash sports car): 40,0 - Max: 100
- ♦ValetMedium MinFuelAtSpawn (most likely sedan): 40,0 - Max: 100

There will be canisters in the game that you can take with you into your inventory. When you run out of gas, you can fill up your tank while away from the station.
Fortnite gas station location
Whenever you bring a vehicle into the game right now, you will notice that gas station icons appear on the map. These will obviously be used once the vehicles are in the game, so we've put together a map where you can see all the gas stations. Some of them are still under water, but by the time the cars are released, they can already be used.
You can expect some kind of LTM involving cars and race them around some track. Here are a couple of lines related to the LTM leak:
- ♦Race to the finish line
- ♦Get to the finish line as fast as you can
- ♦ No points for second place
- ♦The faster the better
- ♦More than one way to win
- ♦Remove the competition if it helps (?)
- ♦Teleportation to the starting line
