Apple Vision Pro: everything you need to know about the VR headset - price, release date, description
At WWDC 2023, Apple unveiled a mixed reality headset called the Apple Vision Pro, a new device that has been compared in importance to the iPhone and Mac.
According to the information presented at the presentation, the headset will work in two modes: augmented reality and virtual reality. The device will be controlled using eye movements, voice commands and gestures.
Users will be able to read articles on the web, watch videos (including 3D movies), take photos and videos, and perform common tasks, as the headset will be compatible with many applications available on the iPhone.
In addition, users will be able to transfer their workspace from Mac to Vision Pro just by looking at the laptop screen.
The headset interface will be made in 3D mode. It will be possible to open several applications side by side and switch between them simply by turning your head. Users can also change the size and height of windows.
In addition, Vision Pro will warn the user if another person approaches him. Thanks to EyeSight technology, the headset will be able to make its glass transparent, allowing you to interact with people in the real world.
Headset screens will support resolutions above 4K. In offline mode, the device will work for about two hours, but it will be possible to use replaceable batteries or connect it to the network via a wire.
Apple Vision Pro starts at $3. It is planned to start selling the device in early 499.
In addition to the headset, today's Apple presentation also featured a new version of the iOS operating system, a 15-inch Macbook Air laptop, and other devices and applications.
