Apex Legends and Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: new mode, Buster Sword and exclusive skins

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth crossover is almost here Apex Legends, and Respawn introduced players to a new capture mode, two types of Buster swords and many stylish skins.
In a surprise announcement on The Game Awards Apex and Final Fantasy fans were pleasantly surprised to see the crossover. And while Respawn initially kept the details under wraps, we now know what to expect.
Final Fantasy VII Capture
The new Final Fantasy VII Conquest mode will allow players to harness the power of the R2R5 Buster Sword in battle. This sword will be available on the map and in airdrops, featuring both light and heavy attacks, the ability to block damage, and dash. In addition, players will be able to use the "quintessential Limit Break" such as Omni-Slash.
In addition to the exclusive version of the Buster Sword for the mode, the Buster Sword R5 will also be available as a relic for all Legends. This version of the sword, although lacking playability, is a stylish replacement for your legend's or heirloom's fists.
The event will add 36 cosmetic items, including Legendary skins and weapon skins. These will only be available in Event Packs, but players can take advantage of a guaranteed selection of four packs to get a Legendary or Iconic item.
The new mode also offers a unique hop-up called "Matter", which will give your weapons additional effects and bonuses. The event will also introduce a new currency, Gil, which can be used to obtain limited items and badges.
The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth event in Apex Legends starts on January 9th and runs until January 30th. From January 12 to January 30, Twitch Drops will be available, allowing viewers to receive rewards for watching streams of select Twitch streamers.

CORRECTED MISTAKES
- Firing Range: Players dying with Nessie in their inventory will no longer see Nessie removed. Sorry, Nessie Hunters!
- Players no longer get stuck due to holograph spam while skydiving.
- Players no longer fall out of the Wraith Portal before reaching the other side.
- Resolved an issue with the low chance of 5 items falling into the secret drawer of Advanced Supply Containers.
- Fixed an issue that prevented the sound engine from properly using fast drives when reading compressed audio data.
- Startup logo video and audio volume now matches the master volume slider
- Storm Point: Players can now use the Evacuation Tower through the ceiling hatch in the Command Center.
- Colliding with a trident will no longer occasionally break through walls and floors.
LEGENDS
- Ash: Ultimate can no longer be used with tridents to get hit by a map.
- Bloodhound: The raven from the Niflheim Hundra skin is now white (instead of black)
- Catalyst
- The description of the Piercing Thorns ability now displays the correct maximum number of traps.
- Piercing Spikes can now be thrown again.
- The Ultimate no longer appears in the inventory as ready without a full charge.
- Conduit
- The V-shaped energy barricade was activated when looking directly at the ground.
- Tactics can no longer be used on a respawning crew that is still on the dropship.
- Crypto: Fixed a bug due to which Crypto took ring damage while standing in a heat shield if he controlled his drone in the ring.
- Loba: movement speed has been restored when holding a tactical skill if it was activated while standing still
