Location of VHS tapes in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3
Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3 is filled with intrigue with its newest and friendliest arrivals. While you can learn more about them by listening to their cardboard cutout audio files along the way, you can discover a lot by listening to the tapes scattered throughout the fun fair. A television and VHS player are scattered throughout the chapter, with the corresponding cassette always located in close proximity to the player itself.
Now let's dive into where exactly you can find each cassette in Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3.
First cassette location
The first tape can be found immediately after completing the entire platformer at the beginning of Chapter 3. You'll find the first TV and VHS player as soon as you get there in a room with cartoon carpet and filing cabinets. Go to the blood stain in this room where the blue tape is. Although it's not in our screenshot, this is the exact location where you can get the first cassette.
Left click to pick up the ribbon and click again to drag it to your inventory. Then go to the VHS player and click E on the tape recorder to insert the cassette. You do not need to enter inventory (TAB) to select a ribbon.
Location of the second cassette
The next cassette is in the section PT в Poppy Playtime: Chapter 3. After ingesting some of CatNap's red smoke, the player enters a vivid nightmare that reveals his guilt over the death of a child. Complete this nightmare section by following a linear path. CatNap will show itself a few times here, but there's nothing to worry about - it's a nightmare after all.
Finish this horrible section and enter the hospital room, separated from the endless corridors of the hotel. The second TV and videotape are here, with the red tape on the right, on the hospital bed. The curtain will close as soon as you insert the tape, and you will temporarily find yourself trapped in a hypnotic video.
Location of the third cassette
You need to enter the hallway on the right side now that you are in the Home Sweet Home shelter. Climb to the bottom floor through the hole in the ground. Go through this section, grabbing a gas mask along the way. Go to the room with the overturned table on the first floor. This is the first room on the right side in the main corridor. Jump through the hole in the wall and turn left, crouching past the overturned table. Turn right and enter the next room, which is also a dead end.
Turn away from the TV as if you were leaving the room. On the left you will notice a metal door that is slightly open, next to the TV. Squat down and look around for the next tape. Grab it with GrabPack and insert the tape directly into your TV.
Fourth cassette location
Keep going through chapter 3, as usual, solving puzzles to get to the second floor. You need to stay on this side of the Shelter, as the task is to find two power supplies to power this sector. Take the open stairs to the top floor after you find and insert the power supply from the destroyed Night Beast statue.
The stairs lead you to the next floor, where there is a race car that you need to start in order to reach the railing on the top floor. Turn right once you are facing the railing overlooking the main entrance to the orphanage. Enter this open room for two clean energy sources. The fourth TV is in the far left corner of the room. The tape, as always, is nearby, to the right of the green panel in the wall and inside closed cabinet. Open it with GrabPack and lift the tape to reinsert it into the VHS player.
Fifth cassette arrangement
The fifth ribbon is in the School. Naturally, you will enter it after completing the Shelter. Unlock the first metal blinds using green power panels. Turn left and enter the room with a birthday banner outside, passing through the first metal shutters. The power supply is located in the back right corner of the screen.
Take the power supply and place it in the generator room. Continue along the corridor, passing the rubble, crouching under it. The monster will pass you by. Enter the room on the right and walk to the opposite side as the woman continues to talk to you over the sound system. Look for a vent. Climb up into the vent in the room from which the teacher came outusing GrabPack. This will take you into a cage to pick up the second power supply. Return to the generator room, open the next blinds using the power supplies and you will find the next TV in this newly unlocked area.
The tape you need is in the room you were just in, on the previously locked side of the shutters. Face the googly-eyed lockers against the wall and pick up yellow tape in a blue locker.
Sixth cassette location
You will find this feed immediately after completing the School section. Enter the underground cave system called "Limited access", leading back to the School. The TV is in open cave chamber across the bridge after receiving the third and final GrabPack update.
This time the tape is easy to find. Look in front of the TV so that the tape lies on three wooden boards, right in front of a metal platform that you need to cross to move forward.
Location of the seventh cassette
Complete platforming and puzzles in a restricted area. Load the following area called "Playhouse"" Things will start off tense, with several chase sequences initiated one after the other. In the first room (where the cardboard cutout is visible), run past the enemy and into the corridor. Go into the next room, the enemy makes a loud sound as he enters. Turn around and return to the original room where the enemy appeared. The TV is located to the right of the door you first entered through.
The tape is in the room you ran into to avoid the enemy. Look at the tent in this room for the pink ribbon.
Eighth cassette arrangement
Complete the first section of the Advisor's Office. This will send you back into the zone limited access, where you have to complete another small light puzzle to re-enter the office. The cassette is in Stella Graber's Playcare office. You need to enter this room anyway to get the ceiling vent key and complete the game.
The TV is located in the Playcare office and the cassette tape is on the main desk in the same room.
