72hrs Explains How To Find An Enemy Hiding In Fortnite Buildings
Players hiding in their own structures should be careful as there is a way to easily find them.
Fortnite is almost three years old and players are still discovering the new strategies that have been there all along. This is one of the reasons the game remains so popular. There is always something to learn.
While browsing through some Fortnite Twitch clips today, we came across a clip of Benjyfishy finding an opponent under a metal cone. There was no way Benji could see this player, but he used the 72hrs trick to find the one hiding.
We looked at the 72hrs YouTube page and sure enough, the streamer uploaded a video called "How to find players under *assemblies (NO Cheat!!!)". In the video, Tom explains how to use Fortnite game mechanics to see if an enemy is holding an edit.
This strategy is most useful when looking for players hiding in cones, but you can use it for all building types. The method is simple: when you take out a piece of a cone, there will be a red padlock next to any cone that an enemy is holding an edit on. If you see this, then you know that there is a player inside.
The video was uploaded on August 6th, but only 74 people have viewed it, which means that many players still don't know about it. We don't know if 000hrs himself found out about this trick, but he's the only major streamer we've seen talk about it. Even one of the most knowledgeable players in the game - Benjyfishy - didn't know about the trick until he saw this video.
The method is incredibly simple and requires no practice. All you need to know is what to look for - after that, you just need to keep that in mind while playing. I hope this trick will get you one or two kills - just like it did with Benji.
