Fortnite Season 10 - Start Date, Leaks, Theories

Fortnite

We're reviewing all the information currently known about Fortnite Season 10 and the Battle Pass!

Our Fortnite Season 10 post covers everything you need to know about this next battle pass! We have information on when Season 10 will start, some theories about what the storyline will be like, and all the leaks currently found!

It's hard to believe, but we've almost arrived at Season 10 of Fortnite! We are filled with anticipation that Epic will go crazy and give us something new and absolutely incredible!. Season 10 has already gone quite far from the first steps on the fortnite map in the opening season. There are quite a few questions about what the theme of the season will be and what things will be returning to the game. Cryptography cards are a good example. While they probably won't make sense thematically, I wouldn't be surprised if they come back a little differently with a different name. I also expect to see even more ways to customize skins. This is already the case with the new Banner Brigade Pack, allowing you to choose the colors and icons that appear on some of your cosmetics!

FORTNITE SEASON 10 START

Season 10 and the Battle Pass are scheduled to start on August 1, 2019. It's possible there could be delays, but Epic was pretty good at getting things done on time. There will be some additional season 9 challenges while we wait, you can learn more about them right here. There will also be a Fortnite 2nd birthday celebration, which you can click here.

FORTNITE SEASON 10 THEORY

There aren't many theories right now due to the fact that the robot vs monster battle left us with nothing to go on. The battle is over and the monster has been defeated! However, there is one thing we have now that will likely lead us into the next season of the Battle Pass. This is the ball that was left after the mech used it for the final blow that knocked out the monster. It is located in the Podlom Pond where all the power has been brought in to bring in all the futuristic parts of the New Towers.

Starting point

Donald Mustard, creative director at Epic Games, tends to update his Twitter profile with cryptic locations. Now that we have the ball in play, it has updated its profile to include its location as the zero point. What does it mean? Well, it's pretty confusing, here's a paragraph from Wikipedia:

Zero point energy (ZPE) is the difference between the minimum possible energy that a quantum mechanical system can have and the classical minimum energy of the system. Unlike classical mechanics, quantum systems constantly oscillate in their lowest energy state due to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle. Like atoms and molecules, the empty space of a vacuum has these properties. According to quantum field theory, the Universe can be viewed not as isolated particles, but as continuous fluctuating fields: fields of matter whose quanta are fermions (i.e. leptons and quarks) and force fields whose quanta are bosons (i.e. photons and gluons) . All these fields have zero energy. These fluctuating null fields lead to a sort of reintroduction of aether into physics as some systems can detect the existence of this energy. However, this ether cannot be considered as a physical medium if it is to be Lorentz invariant in such a way that there is no contradiction with Einstein's theory of special relativity.

It's largely unimportant that we don't fully understand what zero point actually means (although it would be nice to be smart enough to understand it). The important thing for us is that we kind of make sense that this thing is unstable and can lead to crazy consequences! One of them is the potential… TIME JOBS! It was brought to me in the comments, it looks like the new styles you get in Season 9 Overtime Challenges are either outdated or younger. Bunker Jonesy has gone gray and Stratus looks younger (his beard is gone) and also has the word "time" or "timer" on his wrist computer. The skeleton that was left behind by the monster also seems to have begun to overgrow much faster than it should have. We also recently learned that risky reels have been re-added to the files, so this could mean we're getting some classic POIs back, as well as some new ones!

Another Theory

Is the magical season coming soon? We know that the ball will have several stages, and some of the last ones look quite chaotic. We can get a big explosion that will tear the island apart. Season 10 is a big milestone, so expecting major changes doesn't seem too far-fetched.

There are also some lingering questions about the skeleton the monster left behind. It is possible that the monster may have some kind of evil lurking and that it seeps into the ground and destroys the island. There aren't many hints to support this theory, but leaving the skeleton behind opens up some possibilities for potentially being sidelined from Halloween celebrations in the future.

FORTNITE SEASON 10 LEAKS

There haven't really been many leaks, but it looks like the loot lake ball will evolve and change shapes as we get to the end of the season.

There was also a leak of sounds that would come from the orb. If you listen carefully, it really does sound a lot like a heartbeat and a storm!

Unfortunately, this is all we know at the moment. There haven't been any skin leaks yet, so we don't really know which direction the game will take. I guess Epic will surprise us soon enough, so expect some pretty cool stuff to come our way!
