This is part of a quest chain where you have to eliminate the enemies that are still roaming around this region. After unlocking the Hollow Belfry of the Lower Necropolis Halls, you can access multiple side quests from Myrna and Vorgoth. Interact with these two to start the Hauntings: Deathly Curiosity quest.

The first objective of this quest requires you to defeat a boss. For this, follow the quest marker to the east, and when you’re inside the hall, break the red Venatori crystal by attacking it. Following that, you have to battle a group of Venatori cultists to clear The Path of Sighs area.
Do note that if you have already completed the Unwelcome Guests side quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard, this area should be already cleared. Then continue to the door on the south side that is sealed by the red Venatori crystal. Break it, follow the quest markers, and you will arrive at The Spectral Court, where you will face the Burgeoning Malice.
This boss has several powerful ranged and area-of-effect attacks (AoE) in his arsenal. So, your priority should be to dodge the attacks and hit back when the time is right. Defeating him will grant you 6 Etheric Remnants and a chest containing 4 Fade-Torched Crystals.
However, if you have already defeated the Burgeoning Malice during the Unwelcome Guests quest, you can just return to Myrna and Vorgoth to conclude the Hauntings: Deathly Curiosity quest. Finishing the quest will give you 400 Gold and 250 Mourn Watch Strength. It will also unlock the next Hauntings quest, Restless Dreams, located at the Arlathan Forest.
