Biography of Yone
During his lifetime, Yone followed a strict code of duty and honor. He was greatly influenced by the death of his father: from childhood, Yone sought to protect his beloved family. Patient and disciplined, Yone was very different from his half-brother Yasuo, who would always be hot and reckless.
Despite this, the brothers were inseparable, and when Yone went to study at the famous swordsman school near his native village, Yasuo followed him.
At school, Yone often had to upset his overzealous brother. When Yasuo refused to become a student of the elder Souma, who owned the legendary wind technique, Yone gave his brother a maple seed - a symbol of humility. Impressed by this support, Yasuo changed his mind.
Yone was very proud of his brother, but doubted that the mentor had wisely chosen a student: Yasuo was too impetuous to become a good swordsman. However, Elder Souma was respected by everyone for his wise decisions.
Leaving no doubts, Yone continued to practice with dual blades and quickly earned respect among his students with his success. In skill, Yone knew no equal, and Yasuo mastered a special wind technique. Their fights were breathtaking, and the brothers were only too glad to measure their strength.
But this joy was short-lived. War has come to Ionia.
Together with other students, Yone went to defend the province from the advancing troops of Noxus. Yasuo had to stay in the village to protect his mentor. One ill-fated night, Elder Souma was found dead. The assassin wielded the wind technique, the same one that Yasuo had learned.
When Yone returned to the village, Yasuo had already fled.
This shocked Yone to the core. It turned out that he doubted not in vain: Elder Souma really made a mistake with the choice.
Yone blamed himself for everything. If Yasuo really killed teacher - it was Yone who did not set him on the right path. If Yasuo left his post and did not save his mentor from death, then Yone did not teach him discipline. One way or another, Yasuo had already killed several of his pursuers, and Yone believed that this blood was on his hands as well.
He finally tracked down Yasuo. When they crossed their swords, Yone showed the greatest swordsmanship, but his brother's wind technique proved to be stronger.
Yone's story didn't end with death. He woke up in the spirit world. The severity of the defeat broke him. Beside himself with rage, he began to thrash the ground with his fists.
Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by a roar of laughter. Yone turned around and saw a monstrous humanoid spirit with a blood red blade. It was strong Azakana - A predatory entity that has long followed Yone on the other side of the veil between the worlds.
Before Yone had time to say a word, the azakana rushed to the attack.
Yone barely had time to summon the ghostly echoes of his blades to block the monster's sword. Once again, he proved to be the best swordsman - but was forced to retreat under the onslaught of magic.
Anger took possession of Yone. A life devoted to duty and honor has ended. In a fit of rage, Yone snatched the blade from the Azakana and pierced the demon through and through.
The last thing he heard before plunging into darkness again was the same roaring laughter...
Yone woke up already in the mortal world, but he looked like a gloomy shadow of the former world. Yone struggled to his feet. He had vague memories of the spirit world and a blood-red sword. A mask froze on his face - the face of a slain Azakana. Yone could not take it off, but now he saw through it other azakan. They were not true demons and fed on the evil feelings of their host for a long time before appearing before him in their true form and devouring him. As Yone later discovered, if one managed to find out the name of the azakana, she turned into a mask that embodies a certain feeling.
It remained unclear whether—and when—the azakana, whose mask he himself wore, would awaken. During his lifetime, Yone wore masks for so long defender, brother и studentthat they have stuck to the face, replacing his personality. He could have sworn that now, in moments of peace, he felt the azakana mask moving on his face. The past, including the unresolved conflict with Yasuo, paled in comparison to the new threat.
Yone hunts these insidious creatures in order to understand who he himself has become. Each name brings him one step closer to finding out whose laughter is still ringing in his ears.
Everything else doesn't matter. There is only the pursuit of truth.
