Yone in League of Legends Can Teleport Huge Distances
Riot Games has confirmed Yone as the 150th champion in League of Legends, and players are already finding unique assassin ability tricks that essentially give you an extra global teleport.
Yasuo's brother, Yone, will arrive in the Rift with patch 10.16 , after it was revealed that he would be the second new champion added in the Blossom Festival event, after Lillia, in the 10.15 update.
Riot fully revealed the character and his abilities, as well as showing a cinematic trailer revealing his lore on July 24, before releasing him in the Public Beta Environment (PBE) for players to test.
Shortly after the champion was added to the beta servers, a simple trick was discovered with Yone's 'E' ability allowing him to basically get another teleport during the match.
Ability E, which is called Soul Unbound Soul Unbound, allows Yone to take on spirit form and leave her body for five seconds before returning back to her original position, similar to the end result of Ekko's Chronobreak Time Control.
Youtuber League of Legends Vandiril shared some unique features with spirit Yone , emphasizing that it can be used to quickly teleport anywhere and back, without having to walk around and miss out on resources along the way.
It has been discovered that Yone players with Baron's authorized recall can also use this trick and return to the fountain to quickly purchase any items while maintaining map pressure.
There is only a short window available after teleporting or resummoning, so Yone will have limited time to deal damage or buy items before the legend is exorcised from the spirit.
Since the ability to cancel teleports was removed in Season 9 in League of Legends, this technique could also be used to threaten opponents around the world without missing a single piece of gold.
Similar tricks have been found for other champions such as Akali "E" and Ekko "R" as mentioned earlier, but since they can be situational and difficult to master, it's possible that Yone's ability will also remain unchanged until his full release 5 August.
