Where to Find the Secret Vault in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has secret storage, which many new players probably don’t know about. Epic Games likes to add mysterious things without making notes so that players can explore the map and discover them on their own. This keeps players engaged and also rewards them. This particular secret vault in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 has several Rare Chests and can only be opened by interacting with one of the NPC characters on the map.

At the time of writing, there are eleven NPCs in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1: Mizuki, Nyanja, Bushranger, Helsie, Vengeance Jones, Shadow Blade Hope, Cider, Vi, Daigo, Jade, and Kendo. You'll need Bushranger for this one.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to find this secret vault.

How to Open the Secret Vault in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

If you go to the northwest part of the new purple biome, Night Forest, you will see the NPC Bushranger walking around a stone image of a fox. When interacting with him, he gives you three options: buy a weapon, buy a healing item, and show an item.

"Show Item" doesn't tell you what Bushranger wants, but shows the following dialogue above the NPC:

"Do you have any secret items for Bushy?"

Most players might have missed this, thinking it was a simple conversation that would reveal more about the lore of Chapter 6, like other NPCs. However, if you offer Bushranger the Sprite, he will give you the Mythic Vault Key. This will take you to the secret vault in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.

The vault contains several Slurp Barrels, Rare Chests, and an Elemental Chest, so you'll have almost everything you'll ever need to win this match.

It should be noted that NPCs and locations in Fortnite are constantly updating, so this location and procedure for opening the secret vault in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 may change in the coming weeks.

What are Sprites in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1?

Sprites are cute and harmless characters that wander around the map, minding their own business. You can pick them up using the interaction key and take them with you as Spies on Your Hand.

There are currently three types of Sprites available in the game:

  • Air Sprites (white): They give you a lift when thrown to the ground.
  • Earth Sprites (brown): In exchange for a random item, they reward you with consumable items such as Floppers and Mushrooms.
  • Water Sprites (blue): They heal players around them when thrown; however, the area of effect is small and the healing effect lasts for a limited time.
