All Loop Hero Bosses. How to Find and Defeat

guide

Let's figure out where to find all the Loop Hero bosses, and how to defeat them!

guide

The atmospheric bagel burns and almost caught up with Valheim in terms of popularity in Staem. A large number of gamers are trying to figure out the intricacies of the game and we are here to help!

The graphics of the game reminded me of Kings Bounty in its first form, which I played on EU-18, if anyone else remembers what that is. There was a breath of nostalgia and I wanted to return to those carefree times, without coronoviruses, political madness and crises. Partly, Loop Hero was able to take my mind off all this, thanks to our guys from Four quarters.

Well, okay, we're here on issues with the bosses gathered. Let's start in order.

Loop Hero Bosses

A distinctive feature of Loop Hero is the card system for the appearance of objects. According to the plot, the Lich kidnapped the main character and somehow erased all the space around him. Initially, a looped path and a camp are available to you, and only darkness around. As you progress, you will collect a deck of cards that you can use so that the hero “remembers” where what object is - here there was a forest, and over there - mountains.

Bosses in Loop Hero are unlike other creatures you encounter on your adventure. They do not appear randomly from random cards you place around your path. Instead, you should be constantly adding tiles to your Loop Hero adventure. Each time you expand the geography, the boss counter, which is located under the daily cycle in the upper left corner of the screen, evolves. The day cycle fills up much faster, indicating when a new day begins on your adventure. Once the boss meter fills up, you will fight the boss in this chapter.

Lich

The first boss you will encounter is the Lich. This can be a tough fight if you don't have a good deck or the right items for your hero.

guide

Keep in mind that the sooner you fight the Lich, the easier it will be. You can try to make the Lich spawn faster by killing as many mobs as you can before completing each cycle. The more kills, the more cards, and the faster the boss meter in the upper left corner of the screen fills up. Use cards like Spider Cocoon in combination with Chrono crystals to spawn more monsters that are not difficult to defeat.

To defeat the Lich in Loop Hero, you can use a simple deck consisting of the following cards:

  • Battleground;
  • Bloodgrove;
  • Grove;
  • Meadow;
  • Mountain;
  • Oblivion;
  • Rock;
  • Spider cocoon;
  • Coffers;
  • Village.

Save your Oblivion cards for the Lich spawn and use them on as many Lich palaces as possible when the boss spawns. Palaces help the Lich deal more damage to you, making him harder to deal with. You can also place items around your camp to reduce the number of palaces that spawn, as this is where the Lich spawns.

In terms of equipment, the most important stat to focus on is evasion. The Lich does a lot of damage, so dodging multiple hits during a fight can be crucial. Aim for over 40% dodge for a comfortable win, but don't neglect your damage stat.

Another stat you can try is vampirism. This ability grants lifesteal each time you hit an enemy. Due to the considerable influence of randomness, there are many viable combinations of skills, items, and cards. It is almost impossible to predict in advance what will happen to you. Therefore, you may well open some of your own scheme for defeating the boss. Higher rarity items may not always be the best choice. Pick items that give you the stats you need and ignore the rarities.

Finally, consider unlocking all possible upgrades for your camp. The Herbalist's Hut is a game changer and can really turn the tide if you're having trouble defeating the Lich.

The herbalist's hut is one of the first buildings that players can build in their camp, but it can take quite a few cycles to collect all the necessary resources. When the herbalist's hut is finally built, players will start expeditions with two health potions and will be rewarded with two more potions at the end of each cycle.

It must be taken into account that only a certain amount can be stored in the "stock" of potions, and they are used automatically. The player cannot independently use them as needed, and all potions earned during the passage of the cycle that exceed the set amount will be lost.

Priestess

The Priestess is the boss in Chapter 5. When the boss meter fills up, the campfire tile will be replaced with a blue portal. The fight with her may seem much easier than with the Lich. It will be especially useful to find some kind of protection against direct damage so that the fight drags on. The Priestess herself does not attack, but relies on the call. She summons either two angels or 20 stained glass windows. The angels are immune to the character's attacks and attack themselves twice, dealing massive damage before disappearing. Each stained glass window has a XNUMX% chance to block an attack on the Priestess. If this happens, the stained glass window will break and disappear. You must not die long enough to break the stained glass windows and endure the attacks of the angels. That is why before the battle it is worth paying special attention to armor, or defensive magic and evasion.

Secret Boss

In order to summon the secret boss, you need to complete the second act and collect a set of certain cards. The boss can be created in any act or map, you just need to fulfill a number of conditions. First, add at least five of the following cards to your deck:

  • Battleground;
  • Lighthouse;
  • Bloodgrove;
  • Book store;
  • Chronocrystals;
  • Roadside lamp;
  • Temporal beacon;
  • Vampire mansion.

You will also need the Oblivion card - needed to activate the boss.

Look for a U-curve on your driving map - the road can curve in any direction. Place 5 of your cards in this area so that their effects overlap in a U-shaped curve.

If you correctly place all the objects, one of the cells of the road will begin to glow with blue sparks. Place Oblivion on the blue sparks to create a portal to the secret boss. Remember that you must not have other bosses on the map, otherwise the summon will not work.

You will meet the real creators of the world. It is easy to guess that in front of the hero are original avatars of the game developers. There are four of them in total. An interesting dialogue will take place between the character and the bosses, during which they will answer such a fundamental question - how do you see something if the sun has also disappeared?

The bosses are incredibly difficult. Many of their skills are directly tied to the level of your passage of the entire game (the number of killed mobs or completed cycles). This means that whenever you activate a secret fight, the enemies will be ten thousand times stronger. Defeating them without cheats is almost impossible. Tactics for an honest victory do not exist today, but if it appears, we will immediately write about it. At the end of the battle, another funny dialogue will await you, after which the game will immediately end. To some extent, this can be considered a secret ending.

Hunter

Hunter is the boss in the third chapter. His appearance is indicated by an orange portal at the camp site. The hunter enters the battle not alone, but with 2 hounds, who will also attack. Each dog will disappear after 3 hits and cause the character to switch to a different target. After you attack 3 times, the hound will reappear and deal 250% damage. The Hunter himself will attack normally, however, every second attack fills the attack bar of the hounds by 50%. He can also sometimes force the hero to attack another target. The hunter and each of the hounds will heal and deal more damage after the death of one of the allies (the dog).
