According to the new rules of the tournament, 18 crews participated in the championship, however, 2 crews that scored the minimum number of points were eliminated from the arena of the gameplay. - 2018. Venue - Vancouver, broken down into 6 regions. The time of the event is the end of August. Athletes from Europe became the champions again - Team Liquid.
- 2019. Competition venue - Shanghai, period - May 15-25. Direct invites were received by 12 crews, 6 places were played at qualifying qualifiers in 6 regions of the world. The champion of 2017 was determined as the leader.
- 2020. Due to the pandemic, The International games have been cancelled. But Battle Pass 2020 ran from May to October.
- 2021. The participants of the competition were hosted by the capital of Romania, offering the best stadium - the National. During October, the teams competed in deserted stands, due to the continuation of the pandemic.
Singapore Exhibition Center - Suntec Singapore, Singapore Indoor Stadium became the venue for The International 2022 in mid-October. For the first time, 20 teams took part in the tournament, divided into group category, playoffs.
Aegis of Champions
The award of the competition is presented in the form of a shield made of bronze covered with silver. The front side reflects the duel of Light and Darkness, the back - the names of the winning teams. The shield, according to ancient legends, has magical powers that can be used for protection.
