Riot Games latest game, Valorant , is a tactical hero-based shooter that relies heavily on gunplay as well as skill usage. Once again, Jett has the most abilities out of all the agents in the Valorant pool, as she is currently the only agent with passive abilities. A passive ability is one that is always used and does not need to be purchased or activated.
The Circuit
The passive Jett is called Whirlwind (Glide), and it allows players to glide from great heights, allowing her to swim a short distance. This makes her movement a little more unpredictable and also negates fall damage.
Rise
Jett's second ability is called Cloudburst and is similar to many other Agents in that it works like a smoke grenade. The downside to using Jett is that it doesn't last as long as many others and costs 100 credits. However, Cloudburst can be warped in the air when thrown, meaning Jett can smoke around corners. This is good for creating escape routes, as well as preventing enemies from entering through doorways or choke points.
Favourable wind
She also has a buyable ability Favourable wind (Updraft), which costs 200 credits and acts like a jump. While purchasable, it can only be used once after it has been purchased, but it gives Jett a mobility boost and allows her to "jump" on her enemies. Pairing her glide with her Updraft allows Jett to travel quite far without touching the ground. It also allows Jett to take a high position and reach points on the map that other characters cannot.

Jett's ultimate is one of the strongest in the game right now, as it has no time limit and can be used throughout the round. Her Ultimate, Bade Storm, can be activated after the player collects six end orbs around the map. When Jett activates her ult, she draws five kunai knives that she can fire one at a time or all at once. If Jett gets a kill while using her ult, her knives will refresh, meaning she can fire as many knives as she wants while the player is getting a kill before using all five.
Tricks and Tips for playing Cypher
- ♦Since Whirlwind has a very limited duration, you need to act immediately after using it. You can move unnoticed from one place to another with the help of this cloud and the Tailwind skill, which we will discuss below.
