$500,000 Fortlite Tournament Katowice Royale. Participants, Prizes, Format
The third major tournament of the year in Fortnite Battle Royale is close to us and we turn our attention to the IEM esports event in Poland.
For the first time in its long and distinguished history, ESL's IEM Katowice will host a Fortnite competition called ESL Katowice Royale, featuring many of the top names in the battle royale community and a massive $600 prize pool. The competition will be divided into three parts: the $000 Polish Gamers Tournament, the $100 International Solo Tournament, and the $000 International Doubles Tournament.
When will the ESL Katowice Royale tournament take place?
The event with the participation of Polish players will take place on February 23-24 with a Solo tournament on the first day and doubles competition on the second. The first match of each tournament will start at 3:00 PT / 6 AM ET / 12 PM CET. The $100 International Solo Tournament will take place on March 000 at 1:3 PT / 00 AM ET / 6 PM CET, while the $12 Paras tournament will take place on March 400-000, with matches of each day also starting at 2:3 PT/. 3am ET / 00pm CET.

The $500 international tournaments at ESL Katowice Royale will feature a stellar collection of competitors including the likes of TFue and Cloak FaZe Clan, 000hrs and Chap Team Liquid, Ghost Gaming's Bizzle and Dmo, and many more popular professional players. ESL Katowice Royale competition format?
The Solo Tournament will consist of seven separate matches where the competitors will try to score as many points as possible based on in-game placement and eliminations.
As for the Par tournament, since it has such a large prize pool, there will be over 14 matches played over two days.

How will the prize money be divided in ESL Katowice Royale?
The $100 prize pool of the Solo tournament will be distributed among the top 000 players, with the first-place winner receiving $20.
