7 Best Wuthering Waves 1.2 Update Features You Should Consider
7) New rewards from the Depths of Illusive Realm store
Depths of Illusive Realm is a fan-favorite game mode with roguelike-style progression. To increase your chances of success, you should trade items to strengthen your active character. Update 1.2 will bring a mandatory reset to this mode, and with it new items will be added to White Cat's inventory.
The developers have not yet revealed the new rewards from the Depths of Illusive Realm store, but they promise to add them as soon as the second half of the update begins.
6) Demonstration of Resonators
The upcoming Resonators demo offers more options for profile customization. You can use it to display the Summon scenes of unlocked characters to decorate your account. This feature will allow you to show up to three selected units.
The option will be available on the Terminal screen in the game. Simply click on the avatar to assign Resonators to display.
5) Custom auto-aiming feature
Wuthering Waves offers a complex combat system consisting of various mechanics such as dodge-counterattack and parry. While they can be mastered with practice, you won't be able to achieve much if the auto-target feature doesn't work during combat.
Luckily, the next patch will introduce optimizations and improvements to this system, which should further improve Resonator interactions and some Echo skills. The developers will also add a custom feature in the settings to adjust auto-targeting priorities for enemies.
4) More activity points from daily tasks
Rovers in Wuthering Waves must complete Guide activities daily. As Kuro Games strives to improve the gaming experience, they will increase the amount of Activity Points earned by completing daily quests. Instead of 20 points, you will receive 60 for completing repeatable missions.
With these changes, the time required to farm Asterites from daily quests will be halved. This will also allow players to focus on other tasks such as farming Echoes or training in the Simulator.
3) Hoverdroid Shooter Tool
Destroying Photonvault and Hover Targets can be difficult if you don't have a character with a pistol on your active team. Kuro Games has found the perfect solution to this problem with Hoverdroid Shooter. This gadget will be added to the Utilities menu in version 1.2 and will eliminate the need to change characters during your adventure.
Instead, you can simply equip the gadget and hold down the basic attack button to fire projectiles at the target.
2) Support 120 FPS on PC
In the past, several leaks have pointed to 120 FPS support for Wuthering Waves on PC. This high frame rate option was available in the game during the closed beta, but was removed after the official release due to some visual bugs occurring.
It looks like the developers have fixed the issue so that more powerful PCs will finally be able to deliver the highest frame rates.
1) Function for storing excess Waveplate
The Wuthering Waves 1.2 update will add a feature to store excess Waveplate, which will function as the Reserved Energy of the Honkai Star Rail traveler. Once daily stamina reaches maximum capacity, additional units will be converted into Waveplate crystals every 12 minutes.
Now you don't have to worry about losing your previous Waveplate. Instead, join a game whenever possible to farm resources. Be sure to convert crystals into actual stamina to avoid filling up your reserve.
