As Tom Hardy looks set to return as Eddie Brock in Venom 2, recently released behind-the-scenes videos show him working on the action shoot.
New behind the scenes video Venom 2 shows how Tom Hardy works out the movements in a suit. After Venom 2018 introduced viewers to Hardy's take on the antagonist Spiderman , in the second film Venom the villainous character Carnage will appear, played by Woody Harrelson .
In the video, Tom Hardy, in a motion capture suit, takes a few steps forward, waving his arms. On the screen, the low-poly version of Venom follows the star. Apparently, at this point, the actor is training for a fight scene.

This kind of motion capture work has obviously become a huge part of how Hollywood does business in the age of computer action movies and comics. Of course, fans can usually only see the finished product when all the computer effects are added and everything looks great and flawless. That's why it's interesting to watch videos like the ones above that show a very early stage in the process of bringing a character like Venom to life. Hardy really does seem to be having a good time playing with the Venom character and figuring out how he would move across the screen. It remains to be seen what new twists will offer Venom 2 but there's no doubt that a lot of work will go into making Venom look as badass as possible.
