Subnautica: Below Zero All Known Vehicles Guide

Subnautics: Below Zero

Our guide to Subnautics: Below Zero contains all currently available transport options in the game! While we'll probably be spending most of our time underwater, it looks like we'll be doing quite a bit of land-based travel in Below Zero. This is evidenced by the appearance of Snowfox, which is intended only for movement on land. But don't let that scare you, we also have a new submersible called the SeaTruck. This is a new addition to the game, you can attach various modules to it and carry some useful segments with you while you explore. You won't get stuck in the sea without the ability to create something if you connect the right module to your truck!

TRANSPORT TO SUBNAUTICA BELOW ZERO

Here is the full list of current and future vehicles that will be in Subnautica: below zero!

CYCLOPS

Friends, here is the bad news, if you are a big fan of this big submarine, then you will be disappointed. It is currently not in the game and it is unclear if it will appear. I brought this topic up here because I know people will have questions about it. I'll update this area if we learn anything new!

PRAWN SUIT "CRAB SUIT"

Crab is back for another round, but this time he has a new movement ability that should make the game easier. You can now hold Shift to "slide" while on the ground and continue sliding at a higher speed. This ability also does not require any engine power, so you can use it however you want.

The Crab suit is the best option for getting into the deepest parts of the sea, and it will likely have a variety of different hand attachments that will allow you to mine, capture, or attack!

List of additional equipment

  • Drill Arm: allows you to mine large deposits of resources
  • Propulsion Cannon: An industrial power plant designed for the Alterra suit.
  • Grappling Arm: Launches a grappling hook to improve environmental bypass.
  • Torpedo Arm: A standard payload delivery system adapted to fire torpedoes.

List of updates

  • Jump Jet Upgrade: Powerful jets on the back propel the suit into the air.
  • Thermal Reactor: Charges power cells in hot areas.
  • Depth Module: Increases the safe diving depth.

Console Commands

  • spawn exosuit
  • exosuitupgrades (Gives access to all crab upgrades)
  • exosuitarms (gives you all options for crab arm attachments)

USEFUL ABOUT SUBNAUTICA: BELOW ZERO

SEAGLIDE

While it's technically not exactly a vehicle, I'll put it on the list anyway. It is in your inventory and allows you to move faster when you are outside of your other vehicles. Power requires a simple battery, and it can be created at the very beginning of the game. I hope they implement some way to attach the Seaglide to your gear instead of just taking up a few slots in your inventory.

SEAMOTH

The SeaMoth was the first vehicle you could get in the original Subnautica game. It's a great vehicle to get around, but it lacks the versatility of a SeaTruck. As the game develops, we will see that SeaMoth is just an analogue of SeaTruck.

Console Commands

Believe it or not, the "spawn seamoth" command will spawn a SeaTruck for you instead of a SeaMoth. To call the desired vehicle, use "item seamoth".

SEATRUCK

The SeaTruck looks like a successor to the SeaMoth. Instead of having a vehicle that's only useful for getting around, you'll be able to attach various modules to it so you can build, sleep, grow plants, and more while you're exploring. This vehicle is also not officially represented in the game, but it can be used using cheats.

Console Commands

  • spawn seattruck
  • Aquarium Module: spawn seatruckaquariummodule
  • Docking Module: spawn seatruckdockingmodule
  • Fabricator Module: spawn seatruckfabricatormodule
  • Storage Module: spawn seatruckstoragemodule
  • Planter Module: spawn seatruckplantermodule

SNOWFOX (HOVERBIKE)

The Snowfox or Hoverbike is a ground vehicle that you can use to get around the icy terrain quickly. It is currently not yet officially introduced in the game, but you can call it with console commands. The hoverbike has one upgrade slot and you can upgrade it until you can jump. Snowfox will require the use of a Hoverpad to create and charge it. You will be able to customize your bike and rename it through Hoverpad.

Console Commands

  • goto hoverarea (transports you to a stable area with hoverbike ramps)
  • spawn hoverbike
  • spawn hoverpad
  • item 2130 (Gives you an improved jump)
