Daily limit
You might want to forge a huge amount of ore in order to earn weapon experience from time to time. However, there is a daily limit for forging ore. It is up to 300 weapon experience per day, and this limit is common to all types of forged ore.
The forge is more or less a daily task
If you don't have a plan to forge weapons, use ore materials to create ore to earn weapon experience. If you see that the sum is 0 like in the screenshot above, wait until the next day .
Get materials through an expedition
Expeditions will take a long time and will yield useful ore materials for forging ores for EXP weapons. 
The quality of the material ore depends on the exploration time. Please note that some characters such as Chun Yun, may shorten the expedition time depending on the area you send them to.
It is recommended to do this before logging out
Since you do not need to be active for the duration of the expedition, it is recommended that you do so before logging out. This way you can passively earn ore materials without doing anything.
