Developer comment: We've been talking a lot lately about Diablo's place in the meta and why he's picked so often despite his low win rate. We love this hero and find him a pleasure to play, but we know that players complain about the power of his burst damage and we agree that getting killed by a Shadow Charge double combo after level 16 is not a good prospect. To encourage other choices at level 13 and 16 and address the damage issue, we're changing Dread Onslaught to shift its focus from dealing damage to debuffing, allowing the team to take advantage of the benefit it provides. We're also improving Diablo's other builds to make them more viable compared to the wall stun that currently dominates the endgame. We hope that these changes will not spoil the fun of playing as Diablo and building perfect combos, but will only add variety.

Joanna

In particular, Eye of the Tiger and Combat are too strong compared to their alternatives, while Stagger talents fall short of the sweet spot. The additional talent tweak should resolve this issue while keeping Chen competitive.

Of course, this talent is a special reason to pick Tyrande, but as with Kharazim's Cleansing Touch, we feel that such effects should be added to the game later.

We do not see the need to increase the speed of application of her abilities, despite the popularity of this proposal. We will continue to monitor Li-Ming in the game and collect analytical data.
