SpellBreak - Guide, Guide, Tips, Tricks

guide

In our guide to Spellbreak we will introduce you to all the tricks and intricacies of playing battle mages, taking into account classes, inventory, items, abilities and much more.

guide

Spellbreak is a new round in the evolution of the battle royale genre. Studio Proletariat chose the Middle Ages and the main characters corresponding to that time. It's Magi! The project followed the path of Fortnite and did not make modern and very complex graphics, the choice fell on attractive cartoon animation and fast gameplay that does not give even a second of peace to gamers.

All magic spells are cast by users, depending on the class, with the help of special gloves that can be found on the battlefield. There are 11 classes in total, and the types of damage are: fire, ice, lightning, stone, wind and poison. Glove attacks can also be combined. So, for example, throwing a poisonous cloud, it is then allowed to set it on fire, expanding the area of \uXNUMXb\uXNUMXbthe poison.

Spellbreak

All weapons also have primary and secondary fire. Taking, for example, the same poisonous glove, you can attack with the left mouse button by spraying, and throw a bomb with the right mouse button. Each class has a passive ability and three scrolls that they can use during a match to increase their strength. Thus, the pyromancer's "passive" allows him to return to life with 50% health after the first death, and by activating the scrolls, you can heal yourself depending on the damage inflicted by fire.

All heroes of SPELLBREAK

So far, the heroes do not have names, but we are sure that very soon they will appear!

Beginner's Guide to Spellbreak: The Basics

When you first boot into Spellbreak, you see options for games you can play. It will be familiar, there are Duos, Squads and Solo. There is also a character selection screen. While there are different character classes in the game, this screen does not affect your character's class or stats in any way. Choosing a model is just a matter of choosing the look of your avatar. There is also a training ground at the bottom of this first menu. If you're new to the game, you should head over to this area to familiarize yourself with everything we cover in this Spellbreak beginner's guide. This will help you learn what each Gauntlet does and try out combos before the match starts.

Once you start the game, the transition to it will be very different from other games. Instead of being free-falling, you must choose one of several portals. They appear on your map as dim diamonds with a circle in the middle. After you have chosen one of them, you go into it. In this section, you can still move to direct the fall, just like in other Battle Royales.

Also on the map you will see yellow circles made of dots. These are shrines. When you are in the game, these areas are translucent red orbs that you can interact with to activate. These locations will drop a huge amount of loot, so they are a good way to load up quickly. However, they will also become the subject of fierce fighting from other players. If you are new to the game, these places are not the best choice until you learn a little more about fighting other mages.

Inventory and items

guide

There is a standard inventory system like other games, but since combat is based on magic, it's very different from what you've played before. Most of the attacks in the game are done through Gauntlets. This is a completely separate system that will take you some time to learn. However, there are still a few regular inventory slots.

When you go to mine an item, you open your inventory. After that, you will be able to pick up anything nearby, not just the item you interacted with. On this screen, you can also see your empty slots, making it easy to decide what else you need to pick up. In addition to the main gauntlets, you will also find passive equipment. These items, such as amulets or boots, increase your condition. Some of them can buff your damage dealt or increase your movement speed, others can buff one particular glove.

You can also find potions that need to be stockpiled so you can survive later in the game. Runes should not be overlooked. These are additional abilities that you can equip with various functions. They are much stronger than the passive abilities of the equipment and seriously improve your gameplay. Some provide teleportation, others invisibility and even flight. You need to play around with the game a bit before deciding which runes suit your play style. You should try to match your Runes with the Gauntlets you are going to use.

Spellbreak Gauntlets Gloves Guide

Your main weapon in Spellbreak is the Gauntlets. You can equip two of these items, one on the left and one on the right. Similar to how Moira plays Overwatch, but it goes much deeper than just one attack per person. You can try each Gauntlet in practice mode before starting the game, you need to do this. It is very important to feel more comfortable with Mittens. Each one takes time to master, so you need to know which Gauntlet you're going to use. Each gives you one power, which can then be combined with another power for better effect.

The main types of gauntlets are frost, flame, stone, wind, lightning, and toxicity (poison). Lightning Gauntlet allows you to quickly fire electric bolts at other players. The Toxic Glove releases a toxic puddle that damages players over time. The Wind Gauntlet needs to be charged up before using Wind Fast Attacks, and can be fired at the ground to push you up. Stone Gauntlet uses a ground attack that shakes the ground and attacks in a line in front of you. The Frosty Gauntlet is the closest thing Spellbreak has to a sniper. It fires a fast and long projectile that can be loaded for longer range. He also leaves a trail of ice behind him. The Fire Gauntlet allows you to fire powerful fireballs. So let's sum it up:

  • Fire - Can set enemies on fire, dealing damage over time.
  • Frost - Can freeze enemies.
  • Lightning - Can shock enemies, preventing them from casting spells.
  • Stone - Just deals damage to enemies.
  • Toxicity - Can corrode enemies, dealing damage over time.
  • Wind - Can reflect spells and push or pull players.

These are the main gloves. You can equip two at once, and they can be combined. With two outfits, each Gauntlet can use the effects of the other to make a more powerful and difficult attack. Because each Gauntlet works in different combinations, there are too many to cover in this Spellbreak beginner's guide. However, it is worth experimenting with their combination.

Abilities and classes

In addition to a magical attack, each glove gives you a sorcerer ability. These abilities are rechargeable and each has its own uses. Some of them are projectiles, others are auto-aim attacks. Since these attacks have a cooldown and not mana, you need to budget them differently than Gauntlets. Make sure they are ready to use if you need to fight another player.

Now that you know the basics of gloves and elements, how do classes affect the game? Well the classes even more change the selected item. For example, the Pyromancer's fireballs will have a larger explosion on impact compared to any other class that shoots a fireball.

Additionally, these buffs increase when the player enters a new safe zone. Frostburn starts with the ability to leave ice trails when fired from Ice Lance. At level 2, Frostborn can hover in the air when firing Ice Lance. At level 3, the duration of the instant freeze increases. Level 4 - the last and most powerful level - allows Frostborn to overload Ice Lance for even more damage.

This is what  heart  depths Spellbreak . There are several elemental gauntlets, each with a Spell and Sorcery. Pretty much all Spells and Sorcery interact in some way, although not all of these interactions are positive (as you can imagine, ice and fire don't mix well). There are also other types of changes you can make to runes, talents, and more!

With the basics out of the way, let's move on to individual lessons!

Spellbreak Combinations - All Elements

Combinations in Spellbreak essentially combine elements together to change the original element of the attacks. Below you will find all Spellbreak combinations for each element. We have excluded interactions that negatively affect the elements, such as Earth interactions that destroy frost. While they can be useful for dispelling enemy spells, we'll only be looking at those that have a combo effect on your personal skills.

Combos are created by triggering elemental reactions depending on the glove being used. Most spell combos use elemental physics from the real world - fire melts ice, wind blows fire. Here is a list of element combinations in Spellbreak.

Stone / Fire

  • Using the Stone Sorcery - Boulder skill and then hitting a large stone with a fireball will turn the boulder into a meteorite. On impact, the meteorite will explode, leaving behind a small patch of fire.
  • Casting a Fire Wall and then a stone's primary attack will set the cracked path on fire.

Fire / Toxic

  • Shooting a fireball over the main Toxic or Sorcery skill will cause an explosion and a very powerful fire for a short time.

Fire / Wind

  • Shooting any fire element at Wind Tornado sets the entire skill on fire.

Frost / Lightning

  • Lightning will electrify frost or water, however it will not cause any damage, but may stun anyone who stumbles into the area.

Frost / Stone

  • Hitting a launched boulder with an ice spear will turn the boulder into a falling iceberg. Upon impact, the iceberg will break, leaving frost on the ground.

Frost / Toxic

Frost and Toxic are very interesting in combination. Instead of causing a direct reaction, the two elements tend to combine while retaining their original element. This creates a very interesting dynamic. For example: frost added to poison puddles will freeze an area, however that area will still be toxic in nature, shooting a fireball at an area will set fire to a frozen toxic product instead of just melting the ice.

  • The toxic primary attack burns through and replaces any frost on the ground.
  • Shooting an ice spear at a poisonous cloud will strengthen the entire cloud.

Toxic / Lightning

  • Lightning electrifies Toxic, adding a chance to stun permanent toxic damage.
  • Casting Lightning Storm on Toxic will ignite Toxic for additional damage.

Wind / Toxic

  • Shooting Toxic through the Wind tornado will cover the Toxic tornado.
  • Although the primary wind attack removes toxic puddles, it also creates mini-explosions first.

Wind / Lightning

  • Shooting lightning through a tornado will cause the area to be surrounded by lightning.

Fire / Frost

  • The fire will remove the ice from the ground, creating steam. This will deal a small amount of damage to players who enter the area.
  • Steamed Ice Lance will harden the surface.

Stone / Lightning

  • ➤Using the Stone's primary attack during a thunderstorm will set open ground on fire.
