1. Start of the quest:
To start the quest, go to the Extinct Village in the northwest of the starting location. There you will meet a group of tiefling refugees who have been attacked by goblins. Protect the refugees to begin the quest.
2. Quest goals:
- Talk to Kaga, the leader of the druids, who wants to drive the refugees out of the grove.
- Decide which side you will be on: goblins or tieflings.
- Choose how to resolve the conflict: through combat or diplomacy.
3. Ways to complete the quest:
Option 1: Tiefling Support
- Talk to Kaga and find out her motives.
- Talk to Zevlor, the tiefling leader, and accept the quest to kill Kaga.
- Open Kaga's chest to find a letter indicating her plans to hand over the grove to the shadow druids.
- Return to the grove and fight Kaga. Options for combat or diplomacy are possible.
- If you saved the goblin Sazza, help open the gates of the grove for the goblins and fight the druids.
Option 2: Goblin Support
- Infiltrate the goblin camp by using the passage to the right of the main gate or by convincing the goblin garrison.
- Free Halsin from the pen by defeating the goblin guards.
- Kill all the goblin leaders inside the camp.
- Support the goblins in attacking the druid grove by opening the gate.
4. Completing the quest:
- After defeating the enemies, return to the grove and receive your reward.
- Rath will give you the Wolf Rune. Use it to open a secret room in the enclave library.
- Place the Wolf Rune on the empty pedestal and activate all the runes to open the entrance to the Hidden Vault.
- Inside the vault, find rare weapons, clothing and other valuables.
- Rest at the camp, join the celebration if you rescued the tieflings, and speak with Halsin the next day to complete the quest.
Mission completion options
- The tieflings were thrown out of the grove. They cannot bear the hardships of the upcoming journey.
