Draining Modern Warfare 2 weapons: Assault rifles, SMGs, snipers, and more.

A fresh set of leaks related to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) have revealed a huge list of weapons that players can expect to find in the highly anticipated game.

As the year of Call of Duty: Vanguard almost comes to an end, the buzz is picking up. Modern Warfare 2 — the sequel to the soft reboot of the popular Modern Warfare series in 2019.

There are many confirmed details about MW2's story and campaign, but confirmed details about multiplayer have been modest. Which is to be expected considering we haven't had a multiplayer reveal yet.

However, some leaks did happen, and New Plums Reveal Information About Multiple 2022 CoD Maps, as well as a list of weapons we can expect to see. And yes, it looks like there are a few returning favorites.

Leaks that come from Reality UK, rocked social media on July 3 when they surfaced via game files for Warzone mobile, revealing details about Modern Warfare 2 and the 2024 game Treyarch.

However, sticking with MW2, there has been a short list of weapons and weapon icons that have been posted since the map leaks. These weapons include the AX-50, RAAL LMG, Bruen MK9, M4, and AUG weapons featured in the 2019 Modern Warfare title.

There are also MP5 and MP7, but they will presumably be called differently than what we have seen before.

A total of 44 guns have been leaked, some with their own in-game names and some still going by their codename. This is probably not a complete list, but it is quite detailed.

It remains to be seen if more leaks will surface ahead of the highly anticipated multiplayer reveal, but we already have a pretty comprehensive look at things that are coming.
