Secret Quest Gives Bonus XP in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1

If you are looking for extra XP in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 to quickly unlock high-level Battle Pass items, there is something you can do. Considering that the season has just started and the entire map has been changed, it would be difficult to explore everything and find all the ways to get extra XP. Interestingly, a secret task will give you thousands of bonus XP in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1.
This secret mission was discovered by user @realAlucar, who shared a walkthrough video and specifically tagged @ftw_karlo for helping find it.
Read on to learn how to find and complete this secret mission.
Get Bonus XP in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, Complete This Secret Task
This secret quest is available in the new Nightshift Forest biome, and can only be unlocked by completing all Story Quests that appeared on December 4, 2024. Story Quests do not expire, you can complete them at any time during the season, but the secret quest will likely disappear.
In the new Story Quests series, collect all the essence from the demons, which is pretty easy to do. Once done, head to the edge of Nightshift Forest on the bottom right, and you'll see a glowing purple light between two large rocks. When you approach and interact with it for the first time, it will appear:
“There is an old magical resonance place here. It echoes through time and space, in the Spiritual World.”
After that, you will get a notification in the top left corner about unlocking the bonus XP in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 and you need to find two more of these nearby. They will all give you different cryptic messages, probably related to the lore of Chapter 6. The second one gives the following message:
“Something very old and very powerful is stirring up the island’s magic.”
The final stage shows this message:
“He is somehow connected to demons and the rage that drives them.”
After completing all the quests, you will be given 25 bonus XP in Fortnite Chapter 000 Season 6. Please note that the quest can only be completed once and will not appear until you complete the Story Quests.
