Adding Auras and Instruments to Battle Royale Mode in Fortnite Festival Season 7.

According to veteran liquor/data miner @HYPEX, Auras and Tools may be added to Fortnite's Battle Royale mode in Festival Season 7. This means you'll be able to equip Auras that have different effects during gameplay. It's unclear how this will work with determinate Outfits that have their own lighting and other effects, but nothing is possible in Fortnite.
A more practical addition to Fortnite Festival Season 7 is the inclusion of Instruments as Pickaxes and Shoulder Bags. There are plenty of Instruments across all five categories (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keytar, and Microphone) that would fit the bill perfectly. Considering previous leaks have stated that Instruments can be used as other types of cosmetics, this isn’t just wishful thinking.
However, given that Epic Games has yet to confirm these claims, so the information should be taken with a grain of salt. The only thing that can be said with absolute certainty is that Fortnite update (v33.20) will be released on January 14, 2025, marking the start of Fortnite Festival Season 7. Here's a little bit of what you can expect in the game.
Auras, Tools like Shoulder Bags and Pickaxes, and Local Multiplayer Support in Fortnite Festival Season 7
The potential to use Auras in Battle Royale/Zero Build will be a big deal for many fans. As shown in the image posted by @HYPEX, Auras will allow you to give your Outfits a more epic look (for example, Doom Slayer with a fire Aura). Of course, this will only be a cosmetic property, but to see a genuine demon hunter, coming at you using Kinetic Blade, will be enough to send shivers down everyone's spine.
On the other hand, Tools that serve as Pickaxes (for hitting other players) and are used as Shoulder Bags will, in a sense, allow for more harmonious combinations of cosmetics. Players will now have more reasons to purchase Fortnite Festival Season 7 when it launches on January 14, 2025.
Finally, Epic Games has officially announced that Fortnite Festival Season 7 Will Introduce Local Multiplayer Support. Up to four players will be able to play together from one location. Compatible external tools will be used with this feature. For now, it will only be available for Xbox and PlayStation.
