Passage of the game Stalker (“STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl”) – Management of the Monolith

This location is directly connected to one of the main quests of the game. If you have already visited the Wish Donation, you will not even be allowed to visit this area. Once again, you will be dealing with a lot of well-equipped enemy soldiers. Don't forget about the ability to save your current progress. Also check the bodies of fallen enemy units for ammo and better weapons.

What should be done:

Full passage of the quest:

This is the only main quest for this location, so you don't have to worry about anything else. Start moving forward. You will have to stop once you reach a small crossroads (#1). This is a very difficult section of the map, mainly because you are attacked from THREE different directions. Luckily, there are some bars in front of you and to your right, so you don't have to worry about enemy soldiers approaching your position. Start leaning out carefully. Take out some soldiers from a long distance (#2).

Try to get to the right wall so you can attack some other enemy soldiers. They will be standing on your left (#1). You can also throw a couple of grenades at them. Keep shooting at the soldiers who should be standing in front of the crossroads. Once they're gone, turn right and deal with the last group of monolithic units (#2).

You will need to make sure the area has been secured. Go to the left corridor. There is a smaller room to your right (#1). Go there now. Luckily, you shouldn't encounter any additional soldiers here. Return to the main corridor and start moving forward. Try to stay close to the left wall. Be careful. There are more enemy units right around the corner (#2).

You must be careful when moving forward. There are several small rooms on your left. Most of them will be occupied by enemy soldiers (#1). Kill them so you don't get shot in the back or surprised later in the game. You'll have to stay close to the main corridor. The second sniper is hiding right around the corner (#2). Kill him before moving on.

Continue moving towards your current destination. You will encounter enemy units quite regularly. Be sure to check their bodies for additional supplies. You can also choose a new weapon - FT 200M (#1). You shouldn't have any trouble finding extra ammo. You are approaching a larger room (#2). Save your game here because the area is not safe.

I would recommend that you position yourself properly (#1) to throw a couple of grenades inside. Once that's done, start gently leaning out. There are probably 2-3 soldiers inside. Take them away quickly (#2). Remember that you must aim for their heads. Do not enter the room unless you are sure that all enemy soldiers have been killed.

Enter the room. It is very important to save the current game here. Get closer to the big door. It should be located to your right (#1). DO NOT enter this room because you would be trapped there. Instead, get closer to the left wall and start firing at the generators from here (#2). Don't worry about shaking screen or flames. As soon as you destroy all the generators, a dialog box will appear on the screen. Here you decide which ending you would like to see.
