Overtime waiting test Fortnite Battle Royale is finally over as Epic Games released a brand new challenge set for Season 8 with some amazing rewards including new skin styles, increased XP and more.
Overtime Challenges tend to start towards the end of each Fortnite season, but this time around they appear a bit later, meaning players will have slightly fewer challenges than in Season 7. There are nine challenges in total, three of which are exclusive to Season 8 Battle Pass owners, and completing each one will result in three new outfits for some of the very popular skins included in the bundle.
Subscribers will have the opportunity to unlock new skins for Gorgon, Spark, and Keeper of Keys.
As previously mentioned, with Season 9 on the horizon, players won't have much time to complete these challenges. The new season is expected to start on May 9th, and if we've learned anything about Epic Games and Fortnite since its release in September 2017, we should expect a lot of new content to arrive around that time.
Overtime rewards offer a total of 6000 XP for completing all challenges, which can be a huge boost for players who don't have too many battle stars.

This caused shock in the professional community of players, as they may not have time to master new content before participating in the most important matches of the competition.
However, these rumors have since been debunked by Epic Games, who have confirmed that the World Cup Finals will take place in Season 9.
