Honkai Star Rail is a new third-person action-adventure fantasy action RPG from the makers of Genshin Impact. Like in Genshin Impact, in this game you will control a team of four characters. The project is an RPG with a turn-based combat system and strategy elements and is developed on the Unity engine for PC and mobile devices with iOS and Android.

New characters: HoYoverse has officially introduced three new characters in patch 1.6: Ruan Mei, Doctor Ratio and Xuei.
First phase banners:
- Ruan Mei (Harmony: Ice) is a biologist and researcher.
- Signature Weapon: "Reflection of the Past Me" in the weapon banner.
Second phase banners (starts January 17):
- Doctor Ratio (Hunt: Imaginary) is a researcher with the goal of filling the universe with knowledge.
- Kafka (Nothingness: Electric) - Rumors about its release, but information has not been confirmed.
- Signature Weapon: "Baptism of Pure Thought" in the weapon banner.
Change map:
- Expansion of the Hertha Space Station with a new location, apparently consisting of three floors.
New tasks:
- A new mission to continue Mastery at the Hertha Space Station.
Companion Missions:
- New personal quests are expected, perhaps with a focus on Doctor Ratio.
