Genshin Impact Fans Stunned by The Legend of Neverland Clone Game Release
MiHoYo's role-playing game, Genshin Impact, continues to be hugely popular around the world. However, a new game called The Legend of Neverland aims to capitalize on their success.
Upon first exposure to Genshin Impact, the title was met with heavy criticism from both the public and the media. many fans The Legend of Zelda instantly drew a parallel with the breath of the wild and miHoYo. While Genshin Impact may have been inspired by the critically acclaimed Nintendo game, the overall ARPG gameplay is completely different from Link's own adventure. In fact, anyone who has played or even watched any of the streams knows how different the two titles are from each other.
However, this cannot be said about The Legend of Neverland - a new mobile MMORPG, strikingly similar to the colorful world of Teyvat. Not only does it use the same combat system and art design, but it also features a number of other mechanics that seem to bear an unsettling resemblance to miHoYo's famous gacha hit.
Gesnhin Impact clone release on mobile devices
The Legend of Neverland was published by Korean developers GameArk Global. According to the game's official page, players can freely switch between characters at any time by combining their attacks and abilities. If that wasn't enough, there also seems to be a little companion fairy who seems to be inspired by Paimon - Genshin Impact's loud-voiced mascot.
Niko Partners Senior Analyst Daniel Ahmad posted his findings on Twitter, where he stated that The Legend of Neverland "uses the same art, font, design and other mechanics as Genshin. Even the banner ads look like exact copies, reproduced with almost 1:1 match.”

Daniel also pointed out that one of the characters from The Legend of Neverland bears a striking resemblance to the arsonist character Amber. He also found that areas from the Mondstadt region of Genshin Impact even featured in promotional images for the mobile game.
Whether miHoYo will take action on this new game remains to be seen, but this is definitely not the first time a mobile game has attempted to clone the popular franchise.
