Honkai Impact 3rd is just a few days away from a major update planned to add new battlesuits, story chapters, events, and more. The upcoming version 5.8 will be called Canvas of Stars, starting June 30, after a six-hour maintenance.
The update will introduce a new Valkyrie (Night sky) by the name Griseo, a member of one of the most famous groups in the current story arc, the Fire Moths. Her signature weapons and stigmata will also be available for capture, along with Chapter XXX of the open world story.

Valkyries are valiant fighters who have repeatedly defended humanity from a wide variety of enemies from another world. This time, a young artist will appear in the team - a girl named Griseo. This is a PSY-type character focused on close combat. The girl wears an elegant white dress that perfectly emphasizes her personality, unadorned like a blank sheet of paper. However, if you look closely, it's not hard to spot paint stains on her snow-white dress. Light negligence makes the image of the heroine more sincere and realistic.
Griseo is able to cause bleeding, as well as strengthen the entire team - a special cross is used as a weapon. The heroine splashes paint on the battlefield - red, yellow and blue. Each color has its own buff, such as increasing physical damage or making bleeding even more effective. Griseo's talent even allows him to draw an assistant for himself. Mr. Knight is a faithful knight who will always protect the girl. However, the most colorful is the ultimate attack - a huge canvas appears in the air, on which, as you hit, picturesque watercolor patterns appear.
Her signature weapon Elysian Astra, will also be available for PRI upgrades. She will also have her own set of stigmata called Depicter Impression. The 3 parts are related to the following buff on Griseo:
“Increases attack speed. After the final roll, the total damage will increase for each stack of bleeding debuff inflicted on enemies when teammates attack unshielded enemies or enemies whose shield has been broken.
Players can spend crystals on gacha to earn Griseo's signature weapons and stigmata in the upcoming 5.8 release.
Story chapter XXX
The arc surrounding the Flame Hunters continues as the Honkaiverse enters its thirtieth open-world episode Elysian Everlasting. Players will be able to continue the story in the amusement park with new puzzles and events. The Fire Moths are expected to get a glimpse of their memories as Raiden May continues to unravel the mystery of the previous era.
Chapter XXX is expected to be longer than chapter XXIX. Players will have the opportunity to earn Crystals, Griseo Fragments, and Honkai Cubes by completing event objectives in Chapter 3 of XXX Honkai Impact.
Events
Gamers are also waiting for a new card event - Journey of the Coloring Stars. It has to collect partner cards that will be needed for further battles.
