Update Fortnite 21.40 is on the way, with a host of new features and cosmetics expected to be added to the game, including long-awaited Dragon Ball skins like Goku and Vegeta.
After a month-long summer hiatus, the Fortnite team is finally releasing another mid-season update for players, and it's expected to be a big one as it finally launches the Dragon Ball collab.

Fortnite 21.40 Update Downtime Details
Fortnite 21.40 update downtime expected to start at 1:00 AM PT / 4 PM PT / 10 AM ET Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Matchmaking will be disabled 30 minutes before this time.
We don't know how long the downtime will last, but given how much content is being added with this update, we predict it could be anywhere between one hour and two hours.

Fortnite x Dragon Ball skins
After months of rumors and teasers, the highly anticipated Dragon Ball crossover is finally kicking off in Fortnite with skins for four iconic anime characters expected to be available in the item shop.
Early leaks indicate that Goku, Vegeta and Beerus are the three skins arriving in the Royal Rumble. This leaves another skin that many fans predicted would be Bulma, although this is just speculation at this point.
Dragon Ball Challenges with Free Rewards
In addition to the four Dragon Ball skins, leaks have revealed that over the course of several weeks in Fortnite, players will be given themed challenges to complete, with free rewards to unlock along the way.
It is expected that there will be a dedicated tab on the lobby screen with details of this collaboration.
The new combat bus will be in operation
According to rumors, the Dragon Ball collaboration will also include an all-new Battle Bus design.
We don't know what this battle bus will look like yet, but the Naruto crossover had a ninja balloon around it, so it could be something similar - or we could get an orange battle bus!
Bug fixes in Fortnite 21.40 update
As always, the 21.40 update will introduce a number of bug fixes. We have listed all known fixes below:
- Cannot switch the device used for voice chat.
- PS5 players cannot assign items to the Creative hotbar using the L2+Button.
- The Prop Mover is missing several options in Creative Mode.
- Crows and other wildlife have lower spawning/falling rates than Save The World suggested.
- Android players may experience slow performance or no longer see options for 45fps or 90fps graphics settings.
