New Scorn Horror Details - Photo Mode, Requirements and Playtime
creators Scorn from Ebb Software revealed new details of the horror and answered frequently asked questions from fans. According to the developers, it will take 6-8 hours to complete the game, depending on the speed of solving puzzles.
Many of the fans who got hooked on Scorn due to the visual style were interested in the photo mode. The developers said that it will not be in the game, but thanks to the minimalistic interface, it will be possible to take good screenshots. The authors also showed the horror soundtrack, which was written by Aethek & Lustmord, and several pages of the art book. They will be included in the deluxe edition of Scorn and will also be sold separately.

One of the questions was about the required hardware to run the game in 4K resolution at 60 FPS. The creators of Scorn recommend an RTX 2070 graphics card, a Ryzen 5 360 or Core i7-8700 processor, 16 GB of RAM and an SSD. The developers noted that the requirements may vary depending on the graphics settings. Scorn will release on October 21st for PC and Xbox Series. Funds for the creation of horror have been collected on Kickstarter since 2014, and in 2018 the authors decided to redo many elements, which delayed development. The visual style of the game is inspired by the work of Hans Giger, the artist behind the 1979 film Alien.
