Fortnite Leak Indicates More Boons Will Be Added to Chapter 6 Season 1

According to the latest Fortnite leaks, Epic Games is looking to add more Boons in Chapter 6 Season 1. Considering how popular Boons have become, having more options is a good thing. This information comes from an experienced leaker @HYPEX.
@HYPEX has been one of the cornerstones of the Fortnite community since the early days of the game. The information he provides is usually spot on.
There's no set timeline for these new Boons to appear, but we do know that each new type will reportedly offer in the form of upgrades/benefits/abilities.
Fortnite Leak Predicts Five New Boons Coming in Chapter 6 Season 1
Based on the information provided @HYPEX, five upcoming Fortnite The boons will be spread across four different elements. Here is a list with a brief description of the buffs/benefits/abilities they will provide to players:
- Zero Point: Grants 2 Dash effects, 1 charge every 8 seconds
- Void: Somehow tracks enemies for 3 seconds
- Water: Swim or loot containers to summon Chug Splashes around you.
- Fire: Increases damage by 5% for 5 seconds after reload.
- Fire: +5% damage
These Boons seem to have similarities to the Oni Masks that are currently in the game, but their upgrades/benefits/abilities should not make the latter useless. If anything, they will be additions to the loot pool, giving players more options.
When could these five new Boons be added to Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1?
As mentioned, there is no exact timeline for the reported arrival of these Boons. Since Chapter 6 Season 1 began on December 1, 2024, we are still in Week Zero. For this reason, the amount of new content is currently very limited. Aside from cosmetics being added to the Fortnite Item Shop, nothing else will be added to the game anytime soon.
Furthermore, given that there are already four active Boons, the five expected to be added after Winterfest 2024. Adding them now doesn't make much sense since the feature is new and having more of them would fill up the loot pool.
