Will Fortnite Festival Local Multiplayer be available for Xbox and PlayStation?
For now, the new functionality will only be supported on consoles like Xbox and PlayStation. It is unclear whether Switch will be able to support this feature. There is no mention of it being supported on PC.
This is likely because the split-screen mode that the feature requires can't be used on PC. It's also not supported on Switch. It's unclear if this will change when Switch 2 is comingEpic Games will provide an update on this matter.
Fortnite Festival Season 7 Jam Stage Officially Revealed
In addition to the upcoming feature, the Fortnite Festival Season 7 Jam Stage for Hatsune Miku has been officially revealed. Given the overall theme of Chapter 6 Season 1 – Japan and everything related to it (culture and mythology), the Jam Stage takes a lot of design inspiration from it.
As seen in the trailer, the Jam Stage features warm blue and purple lighting throughout. The blue could be a direct reference to Hatsune Miku, while the purple could be a reference to the Demon Portals that are scattered throughout the island. Chapter 6 Season 1 Bosses appear around them.
We can expect a high-resolution image to be released by Epic Games, possibly over the weekend. In the meantime, here's the image that was posted by a seasoned leaker/data miner @HYPEX, taken from the official video showcasing the upcoming Fortnite Festival Local Multiplayer feature.
