Nemesis, Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine from Resident Evil Appear in Dead By Daylight
Behavior Interactive reported that Nemesis is from resident evil , Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine will enter the pool Dead by Daylight June 15th. In addition, players will soon experience a brand new, innovative mechanic where AI-controlled zombies roam the map, hunting for the flesh of a Survivor.
Nemesis, who will simply be called the Tyrant, soon arrives to terrorize the Survivors. Like its counterpart from Resident Evil 3 , Nemesis will use the tentacle embedded in his arm to pounce on Survivors with a whip-like animation. Hitting a Survivor will infect them with the T-virus. As more survivors become infected, the range of this attack increases, making Nemesis more dangerous and capable of striking from afar.
When playing as Nemesis, you will encounter new mechanics as AI controlled zombies will also be loaded into the match. They will work independently of the Killer to seek out, attack, infect, and generally harass Survivors. This has huge potential to change the way future characters develop.
As in the Stranger Things chapter, Leon Kennedy and Jill Valentine make their way into "Dead by Daylight" as survivors. Details about their perks are unclear yet, but we do have a few details on how they will work.
For example, Jill draws on her years of experience and training when repairing generators. She will be able to place a mine on the generator, and if the Killer kicks her, it will cause an explosion that will temporarily blind him.
Meanwhile, Leon gains an innovative perk that allows him to find a stun grenade on any map. This item will obviously work in the same way as the firecrackers from previous events, meaning they can distract or even blind the Killer, causing him to drop a wounded Survivor. This item is found during the match, unlike normal items, so Leon can take any other item from his equipment with him.
As for the new map, it will be based on the Raccoon City Police Department. Behavior paid special attention to detail to make this space as close to Resident Evil 2 and 3 as possible. As a result, most of the map layout will be static, just like the Hawkins Lab map from Stranger Things. Generators, totems, and a few other items will be placed randomly, but at first glance, most of the map looks static.
