Need for Speed: Underground 2 is the eighth installment in the Need for Speed ​​series. After the events of NFS Underground, having won the title of the fastest driver in Olympic City, six months pass. One of the friends of the protagonist crashes, while he himself, only got off the hospital bed after the accident. Arriving in Bayview, the hero returns to his favorite business - driving through the streets and fighting with other racers in order to find glory and gain respect. Caleb Reis, a nemesis who caused two crashes early in the game, ends up challenging the protagonist.

In Underground 2, players move freely around the city map, in search of driving adventures, challenging anyone who comes to hand. The list of cars has grown significantly - now the player has a choice of thirty cars. The list of game modes has also been expanded - there are eight of them, each of which has its own rules. There are NO problems with the police, due to its absence.
