NBA 2K23 is giving away free VC due to broken badges
After submitting bug reports about icon crashes, players in NBA 2K23 received free VC as compensation.
The Nba 2K MyPlayer system has received many changes for the latest release in the long-running series. One of these adjustments includes adding slots for basic icons, which allow players to equip one badge for each main category - Finishing, Playmaking, Shooting, and Defending/Rebounding.
Essentially, the main icons should allow for more build flexibility for user-created characters. But the system is not without flaws.
In particular, NBA 2K23 players continue to run into issues while trying to equip core badges. In some cases, error codes appear, for example, making the new system useless.
NBA 2K23 user gets free VC as compensation for badge glitch
In a post on Reddit LessMeringue1850 shared a screenshot of a message he recently received from 2K customer support.
A customer service rep stated that a player's report of being unable to equip badges in NBA 2K23 "has been successfully documented".
However, since the support and development teams operate in two separate departments, the representative was unable to offer a timeline for when the necessary fixes would be rolled out.
However, a support representative provided the NBA 2K23 player with free VC compensation. Apparently, 15 coins is the maximum that could be provided to the applicant for his “patience and cooperation».
Many of the Reddit users are not impressed with the rewarded amount. “15K VC/$5 is barely enough to buy a sweatshirt from Swags," one user said.
However, some reddit users think it's better than nothing. After all, compensation is compensation. However, it seems that most just want this particularly nagging problem to get a proper fix from the developers.
