Mortal Shell The Virtuous Cycle DLC Got Teaser Trailer
The Cold Symmetry team has announced The Virtuous Cycle, the first major expansion for last year's Mortal Shell RPG.
Cold Symmetry and Playstack have announced Mortal Shell The Virtuous Cycle, the first major expansion for the popular 2020 RPG. Unfortunately, the information provided by the authors is rather modest. We know the expansion is for PC as well as Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. No specific content or release date has been announced. The creators limited themselves to a statement that the DLC will debut soon. We hope to learn more facts about this project by the end of E3 2021.
However, it is worth paying attention to the fact that the PC version of the add-on will simultaneously debut on the Epic Games Store and Steam. This is important because at the moment the game is only available in the first of these stores. The premiere on the Valve website is scheduled for this summer. Recall that Mortal Shell was released on August 18, 2020 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, the release game left much to be desired in terms of technical refinement, but still met with a warm welcome. The PC version received an average rating of 76% on Metacritic. The PS4 version boasts the same result, and in the case of the Xbox One version, 75%. The project also turned out to be a box office success. In March of this year, the creators announced that sales had exceeded half a million copies. Since then, this number has undoubtedly increased a lot, as the game was released for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S a few months ago. Finally, it's worth adding that Mortal Shell The Virtuous Cycle was one of the titles listed in the unconfirmed list of productions. which will appear at E3 2021. This increases the chances that in the coming days we will also see other titles listed there, such as Requiem from a Tale of the Plague, Slime Rancher 2 or Forza Horizon 5.
