We know how hard it can be to decide which weapon to use when you first start playing, so we've put together all the information we can find for weapon rankings in Apex Legends. We took into account damage stats, rarity, and what some top streamers used on a consistent basis. We hope that this list will help you decide on your choice of weapons faster when you enter the battlefield. Keep in mind that even if a weapon you like is considered low tier, it doesn't mean you shouldn't keep using it. The best weapon will usually be the one you're most comfortable with!

This attempt to classify the best weapons will inevitably meet with some disagreement and criticism. We're trying to look at weapons in the game as a whole and organize them accordingly. ELITE (BEST WEAPON IN THE GAME)

MASTIFF

The legendary shotgun Mastiff deals maximum damage in the game. It's a little weird because it shoots in a horizontal line, not the normal shot spread of its classmates. The weapons are hard to find due to their rarity, mostly found in Supply Pods or high value loot areas.

KRABER. 50

This is another legendary weapon, on par with the mastiff, but it's a sniper rifle. It gives absolute damage per shot (if you land a headshot, in most cases it will take out a player with any health if you hit). The Kraber is interesting in that you can't currently find ammo for it. It uses a special type of ammo that comes with the rifle, and once you're out of stock, you'll have to switch weapons.

Peacemaker

The best melee weapon is the peacekeeper. All in all, it's very good on its own, but it gets a lot better if you can pair it with Precision Chokes. With this addition to your weapon, your shot will have a much tighter spread that concentrates the damage, almost making it look like you fired a bullet instead of a shot.

A-CLASS

While slightly below Elite level, they are still very powerful weapons and should be prioritized in most situations.

SLAVE

This is your standard Desert Eagle pistol and is very comfortable to use. It shoots pretty fast for this type of weapon, and if you land headshots, the enemy will quickly box. This weapon can also receive a recoil compensator. Attachment can be applied to it Skullpiercer Rifle, which increases damage on headshots.

DEVOTION

This light machine gun can take some getting used to, but it inevitably becomes one of the best weapons in the game. Unlike most weapons, it takes a little time to reach the maximum rate of fire. You have to hold the trigger and it fires up, but once it fires it just rips people apart. To really unleash its potential, you need to have a larger magazine, which will allow you to shoot longer. The fact is that the energy ammunition that the machine gun fires is hard to find, and the bullets in the horn run out very quickly. If you want to take this weapon even further, look for the attachment Turbocharge, which reduces the spin-up time of the machine gun.

M600 "SPITFIRE"

Machine guns are usually the weak link in most games, but in Apex Legends they are one of the best options. The Spitfire is not only amazingly accurate, but it also reloads relatively quickly, which is a typical shortcoming of the class. It can deal a lot of damage in a short amount of time and doesn't require a full set of attachments.

SCOUT G7

A really good mid-range weapon that belongs to a sniper rifle, but being a semi-automatic weapon can be used in a variety of ways. Deals good damage at both medium and long range.

LONG BOW

Another representative of sniper rifles. Dealing high damage, it also has a relatively high rate of fire. Weapons can also be upgraded and have as many as five slots for attachments.

B-CLASS

There is nothing inherently wrong with these weapons, at the moment there is simply nothing that makes them stand out from the others. These are all serviceable weapons and can be used at a high level.

CARBINE R-301

A fast-firing assault rifle that actually deals little damage, mostly due to the use of light ammo. It's pretty accurate, and once you have it fully equipped, it fires like a laser beam!

TRIPLE EFFECT

Another energy weapon that fires three projectiles per shot and fires horizontally. Not only that, it's a sniper rifle?! It is best used at medium range because at longer ranges the horizontal spread becomes too large and makes it impossible to hit all three projectiles. Significantly improved with a precision choke that can be charged in ADS mode for tighter fire spread.

TRAINER

If you like explosive weapons, then this is a good option. The problem for her is that he needs upgrades to really get the most out of him.

R-99 PP

This is a fast submachine gun that can do some damage if you can handle the recoil. This gun will get a lot better if you can get quality attachments, especially for the shop. It's really good for close combat and can be used instead of a peacekeeper if you don't like shotguns.

VK-47 FLATLINE

This is your no-frills assault rifle that is useful in most situations. She shoots a little slow, but makes up for it with high damage.

S-CLASS

EVA-8 AUTO

He's just not good enough. Low aiming accuracy and not high damage, does not allow him to get into the top.

CHANGER

Some weird submachine gun hybrid that doesn't work too well either. Also fires quite slowly for SMGs and has a small magazine.

D-CLASS

These are frankly weak weapons compared to all other guns and should be avoided unless you have no other choice.

P2020

Just your pocket pistol that doesn't deal much damage. It will fit at the very beginning of the game, but should be replaced as soon as possible.

SHOTGUN “MOZAMBIQUE”

Pistol and shotgun in one. It does damage, but you have to be very close to the enemy to use it. It's just a bad weapon that has the flaws that shotguns and pistols usually have.
