How to Fix Blurry Images of Outriders in PC Version
Welcome to our tiered list of the best weapons and equipment in Archero!
Outriders is the latest third-person shooter from People Can Fly and Square Enix. Unlike Marvel's Avengers, Outsiders handles the co-op multiplayer genre much better. It surpassed 100k concurrent players on launch day and held its position as one of the best-selling games on Steam for several days. This very successful launch resulted in a lot of server issues and players weren't able to log into the game at all. Also, there are some technical issues. If you're on the PC version and want to fix Outriders' blurry visuals, here's how you can do it.
User feedback on Steam is currently mixed, and this is due to the technical issues we mentioned above. Players definitely enjoy the game itself, but server issues don't help and need fixing. The developers are working hard to fix this and we hope everything goes smoothly soon.
Fixing blurry images of Outriders
Several users on the Steam and Reddit forums have complained that the game's visuals are blurry. There are a few workarounds for this, and we'll cover each one for you to try out.
Disable frame rate cap in game
The first thing you can do is remove the framerate cap. To do this, follow these steps.
- Open settings and then click on Display.
- Here set the parameter Enable FPS Limit value off.
Disable Vsync
For some reason, disabling Vsync might also fix the visuals. There seems to be some sort of dynamic rendering involved with both the frame limiter and the vsync setting. Follow the same steps as above and set the parameter to Vsync value off .
Delete the Madness folder and check the files
If the first method doesn't work for you, try the next one. This is also for players who have previously installed the demo.
- Open Windows Run by searching in the Windows search bar or by simply pressing the keys Windows + R together.
- Then enter the following address in Windows Run . as shown below.
%LOCALAPPDATA%
- Delete the folder here Madness . This will also remove any configuration files that came with the demo.
- Now open Steam and go to your library.
- Right click here Outriders and then Properties.
Now in a tab LOCAL FILES click Verify integrity of game files . This will download any missing or corrupted files that didn't go through properly after the demo itself.
After you are done with this, restart the game.
